Kamdar Dental Associates

When Dr Kamdar refered to my children, who are african american, as "you people", I knew I wouldnt be back. She stated that African Americans are usually obese with bad eating habits.
Dont like to refer to people as racist, but she was borderline. I did speak my mind and let her know that I would find a dentist for my kids elsewhere. I am mixed, black/white, and was very offended by her comments; which didnt end with the "you people" comment.
Would not recommend her to any of my friends/family.
Staff was, and always had been pleasant though. :-)

Dr. Kamdar is an excellent Pediatric Dentist with a lot of experience. The fact that she does not allow parents to go in the back is only for the benefit of the child and not because she cannot stand parents in the back or for some other odd reason. Whenever they needed me in the back, I was asked to come in with no problems. Her Staff is very friendly and her new office is amazing with the latest equipment and the newest technology. Everything is so nice and clean. Dr. Kamdar takes time to talk to the parents and is extremely great with children. Her assistants are very caring and professional. Her front staff is so nice, they always greet you with a smile. Her Hygienist takes his time and makes sure to do an outstanding job. Its up to you-do you want a hygienist and a dentist to rush through your child's treatment or take their time? This is a family oriented practice not a factory lane. These people who complain are just not happy with themselves and do not understand the healthcare system. I am a Nurse myself and this Office exceeded my expectations.

My son used this dentist for the first time recently and found them to be unprofessional. His appointment time was mixed up. The dentist (a man and probably new) was watching cartoons while cleaning. The head dentist was surprisingly rude in tone and unhelpful. A simple cleaning and x-ray took over two hours (more if you consider the mix up). I would not recommend this dentist.

I visited this office twice. The first time, I didn't get good vibes from the start. The waiting area had an old fish tank that needed to be removed or cleaned and the asst didn't exemplify professional (attire and articulation) to me. After seeing the hygenist, I waited almost 30 minutes to see the dentist! In fact, I got out of the chair to go look for someone! When I returned the second time, I did not even get into the room! After waiting 30 minutes to be called, I left. The office called to schedule another appointment three weeks later. I quickly declined the invitation.

We had been taking our daughter to Dr. Kamdar for braces. After 14 months, they have not been able to keep the lower braces on they kept falling off. We had to take her to another dentist. Dr. Kamdar would not refund our money and we had to call the BBB for HELP. If you need a dentist for your child, this is not the office. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
