I have had a good experience with Kam's for two consecutive times. No long waits, prompt service, and personal updates by the owner himself. Prices are definetely not overinflated. Such a convenient location too!

Kam's was always busy and has been around a long time, so I tried them for fuel pump that went out last March. They were quick and friendly, but after repaired, I filled up gas tank and as I was getting back in the car, noticed stream of gas running out under the car and just thought I over filled tank. Headed out of town and at next fill up, same thing happened and check engine light came on, so headed back home and back to Kams. They attached the piece that they had left undone at the top of the tank for no charge. Now 13 mo later, check engine light is on again. Lean fuel mixture. I took it to my usual mechanic and was told that Kam's had put wrong fuel pump in my car. Kam's says it is the right pump, but the problem is that I chose an aftermarket pump they offered rather than OEM part. At the time, it was explained to me that it did not carry the same warranty as OEM pump and it cost less, but basically the same. Insurance companies use aftermarket parts all the time and I shop store brands all the time and am satisfied with the quality of them. So why should this be any different? I trusted them that either part that they sold would work in my car, so I chose the aftermarket fuel pump. I've learned my lesson and hope that Kam's has learned also not to even offer inferior equipment. Maybe a man would have known better, but I didn't and trusted Kam's for the reasons stated at the beginning. The owner has offered to refund a portion of the cost of the pump.

Replaced the timing belt (does not have a timing chain) on my 94 Nissian V6 SE extended cab pickup at 139,000 miles. Quick, efficient and a reasonanble price. Made some good recommendations .like. "we have to take the water pump off to get the timing belt, so it would only cost the rice of the part to just have us put a new one on". Great suggestion....

The receptionist is very unfriendly. I paid $24 to replace a lamp and $185 to replace park plugs. I will never come back.

I was on my way out of town for the holidays and the check engine light came on. As it was 4pm Wed before Thanksgiving I was panicked to say the least. A freind recommended KAMS and I called and was told that they would wait for me to arrive and would look at my car. They were friendly, courteous and fast. The staff stayed late to fix the problem and I was able to continue out of town. A great family owned auto repair shop. Now that I have found them they will be the only place to service my family's 4 vehicles.
