My husband had called a different Kauffman location for a specific tire and on the day the pair was supposed to arrive, I called but the employee I spoke with couldn't be bothered to track them down. There's a great deal of hoopla, but ultimately Kenneth from this location drove to the other store to retrieve the tires for me and they had the replacemnts on in less than an hour. Wow! HE DROVE TO THE OTHER STORE when his fellow employee couldn't even look in his inventory on the computer. Also, they checked my alignment (I thought it was pulling) and informed me I didn't need it; the old tire was the issue. There was no pull on the drive home. Honesty is awesome! Thank you, gentlemen, for your outstanding service.

I was surprised to see the above named review from some time ago. As a single woman, I have counted on this Kauffman Tire location to keep my car safe for some time. Always I have found their work to be exceptional and fair. It's been especially so in the past year and a half or so. As another reviewer mentioned, the staff there will let you know what work needs *not* be done, and when appropriate, they state the mileage/time frame for when they anticipate that it will. I think women need not beware of the service at the 2140 Riverside Parkway Kauffman Tire.

I have always bought tires at discount places where you might have an appointment but you end up sitting there for 2 hours anyway. Kauffman was GREAT! I got there right on time at 8am and I was on my way in about 40 minutes! While not the cheapest..they certainly are quick and friendly. Its worth a few extra bucks to be treated like you matter to the company.

More than once the guys at Kauffman have saved me some money by suggesting against optional work I mistakenly thought was needed. Afterwards I had a mechanic friend review their advice, only to concur with what they said. Kauffman's had more than one opportunity to use my lack of car savvy to milk my wallet, but they never have.

needed new tires for my truck the guys found that my wheel bearing hub thing or what ever it was called was bent, somthing NTB missed they also showed me the problem and let me look at it with no pressure to fix it. got 4 new tires that fit me they didn't try to sell me the most expensive or best looking they also steered me away for making a mistake by wanting to buy a more expensive tire telling me that not many people liked the tire, due to the tread wearing out too fast. it saved me $30 a tire. will return there.

Becareful ladies, they use our lack of knowledge to make a sell, then not totally complete the job and in the process scare us half to death to get us to spend our money. My advice... Never, I mean Never go here w/ out your husband, brother, or someone who knows something about cars. They should have a sign outside saying trying to meet daily totals get cheated out of money here!!

I got a new set of tires here last month. I visited this store after having read some not so good reviews of the Lawrenceville store even though that store is closer. Didn't have the tires in stock, but I wasn't in a hurry and I had called in advance to know this. I dropped my truck off on Friday night and job was completed before 9am Saturday. Suggested a break job, but with only 38k on the truck didn't think it was needed so skipped it. (Took it to dealer and did they also suggested breaks so I guess they were right.) Only down side was they went ahead and performed an alignment even though I only said to test it, but not to perform it so I was out a few bucks for that, but I guess I'm happy with that. The tires are great. Now we just need some rain so I can make sure I don't slide around the roads. This is a good facility to visit and give them a shot if you don't want to hit the other "big box" stores/chains.
