Kauffman Tire

Horrible place!! Very dishonest. Never do what they are told. I bought four tires from them and would bring my car back for Oil change and have them rotate the tires. I started to notice that the fluids were never topped off because the warning lights would always come on after services. I also marked my tires to make sure they were rotating them and when I went out to check my car they had not been rotated. I went back in and explained the situation and he loooked at me and said they were rotated that he saw them rotated with his own eyes. So I nicely brought him out to see were I marked the tires and how stupid did he feel that he was busted. So what did they do they brought my car back around and most likely wipped off were I marked and still never rotated the tires. They did not ask to give me a discount or nothing. Talk about customer service. HOrrible dishonest!!!!! This place is why mechanics get a bad rap.

I just spent $600 for a set of tires. Price was okay (Not great).

Biggest issue was. I scheduled a time to show up.

It took them 2 hours to install a frickin set of tires.

Are these guys nuts?

Look around there are other people who want your money

Got a good deal on tires, service was excellent on the initial $800 order. But after getting anail in tire 2 weeks later, service quality on getting repair was terrible. They eventually did it for free, but it took >3 hours in total and two separate trips to the store; first to get a guaranteed repair time, second time it took two plus hours for the repair after being promised a guaranteed time slot. Probably better to pay for the tire repair service and get it done in 45 minutes, free and >3 hours is not really a deal. Frustrating that they had every opportunity to get the service call right; but they intentionally made decision to make me wait as a non-paying repair customer. This isn't service quality. If you don't place any value on your own time, they do tire rotations and repairs at "no cost"

In 2001 they told me my truck need $900 work done to front end, dealer later found no problem. 2007 my daughter takes car to Kauffman they tell her brakes will cost $800, she had her brakes done elsewhere for under $100!

Sure they are all smiles and service. While in for other service, We asked them to inspect the brakes since they were shuddering when braking. The vehicle was still under the manufacturer's warranty, so I guess they assumed we were just going to take it into the dealer anyway, so no money to be made. So the tech said they checked out fine and let my wife and kids ride off with defective brakes. Because he wasn't going to make anything off of telling us to take it to the dealer. I wrote Kauffman and they just ignored me. So that was the last I dealt with them.

Their tires are grossly overpriced anyway. Shop around and you'll save a ton.
