Stained my upholstery, never apologized
I took my car for an oil change and tire rotation at Kauffman. When I dropped my car off, the interior was spotless.
1 hour later--the driver's seat and door, the upholstered arm rest, and the passenger's seat had black smudges everywhere. I went back inside and politely said there were stains everywhere. The manager went to my car and said "I know they used a seat cover." I told him I saw it too, but my car was clean when I dropped it off. Then he told me he understood the driver's side, but not the passenger's side. I replied that I would have to start photographing my car before and after to prove my point. To which he replied that with light interiors, customers need to ask IN ADVANCE that their car be driven by the guys up front because the guys in back are dirty and can't be expected to not get the car dirty. I told him that maybe it should be company policy that the guys in back not be allowed to drive the cars with a light interior. He said that they know they're not supposed to but sometimes forget.
I NEVER received an apology, and if anything I was ACCUSED that I dropped my car off in such condition. The manager did a mediocre job of cleaning my car, and this weekend I will have to do a better job.
