Every thing envolving the Kaufmman Clinic and Emory Clinc has been very profesional and top of the line.My wifes condition was termed as terminal by all of the doctors and "specialists" in Athens and Gainesville. However it was treated and cured by the great doctors involved with Emory. I had a foot surgery that was virtually pain free. Thanks to the superior billing practices I had only a $35.00 bill after all was said and done.

Although I have chosen to patronize another practice because of my distaste for Dr. Kaufmann’s style, I do think highly of other clinic staff, especially his excellent colleague, Dr. Michael Conlin.

I went to see Dr. Kaufmann for my ADD and he found out that I was almost at stroke level due to cholestrol levels, sure he's a little cocky at times but you can be when your that good. He actually listens to you and very through but when you don't do your part he will let you know about it (he makes you accountable for your actions regarding your own health). I can go to an appointment with several things or just a concern and before I leave he will check it out. I will only put my well being in the hands of the Kaufmann Clinic period!

This doctor came recommended to me by another doctor, but for what reason, I have no clue. Aside from his cocky, pompous "I'm holier than thou" attitude, I'm sure deep down inside he's genuinely concerned for other people's welfare, as a good doctor should be. However, that part or even a glimpse into that side of him has yet to be revealed.

Recently, he prescribed a medication to me and failed to divulge some pretty important side effects, which completely messed up my system. Upon confronting him in my next visit, he denied any knowledge of this drug's negative side effects and had this lackadaisical, disinterested attitude about the whole thing. After all, his life wasn't affected in any way, so why should he care right? WRONG! You need a doctor who you can trust to provide you with the care and knowledge you need. This is not your guy.
This guy, Dr. Kaufmann, gives Emory a bad name.
