I went to Keating Family Medicine with pain in my calf that had been going on for several months. I did not see Dr. Keating. The doctor I did see barely spoke to me, she was unable to tell me why I had pain, and gave me little to no advice. She ordered that I get an X-ray (for muscle pain?), which was expensive and revealed nothing. I sat in the waiting room forever, and they charged me almost $300 (not including the X-ray) because I was a new patient. She performed no tests, and she was incredibly rude and arrogant. I saw a Navy doctor a year later for the same pain, and he immediately told me what was causing it and how to make it go away.

He seems a nice guy. But I've been seeing him for over a year. I find him dismissive and unhelpful. He seems out of touch with women's issues and just provides more pills. The staff is rude. Six phone calls to get an appt and then a VERY long wait. No follow up on test results. The general disorganization and lack of competent support staff leaves me looking for a better doctor. I can do without the handholding and platitudes in search of real help.

He was the only doctor who was able to figure out what was wrong with me after seeing many other doctors. We've been to many doctors in GA and Dr. Keating has been the most incredible doctor we've even experience. He not only remembers you, but actually spends time answering your questions. He has an incredible bed side manner! I can't think of a bad thing about this man. We are blessed to have found such an wonderful doctor who is not only right on with his diagnoses but also friendly and very compassionate about what he does! We would highly recommend him to everyone. Wait time for appt is a little longer and you will sit in his office 10-15 minutes, but you can expect nothing but the best care. Nothing fancy, but he is the BEST!!!!!
