In response to the above review by "Walking finger," Keelen Bros. is well aware as to who this is. This customer's parents have been very satisfied with all work completed by Keelen Bros. over the past 30 years. The issue at hand is that said customer purchased HIS OWN bushes at a closeout sale. At "Walking finger's" request, Keelen Bros. planted the purchased azaleas. Keelen Bros. did not receive a phone call until the following spring, stating that Keelen Bros. was responsible for the replacement of dead azaleas. Had Keelen Bros. purchased the bushes for the customer, we would obviously have been responsible for their replacement. "Walking finger" then threatened to post negative comments concerning the company—and, as you can see, he was true to his word. Furthermore, "Walking finger" lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, which was closed by the BBB and did not affect Keelen Bros' BBB ‘A+' rating. Please feel free to contact Keelen Bros., at any time, should you have any questions concerning our integrity and loyalty to our valued customers. Thank you - Keelen Bros. Tree Service.

Last year I had Keelen Bros. removing a fallen tree from my yard. At the same time, I had 11 azaleas that I was going to plant. Joel Keefer(owner), said he did garden work and offered to plant them. As they were being planted, i noticed them throwing fert. into the holes ahead of the plants. I asked Joel if that would burn the roots. In so many words, he said he knew what he was doing. As I was sure the plants were dying , I notified keelen bros. two times over a period of a year trying to come to a compromise/settlement for, now, ten dead azaleas. Each time Joel claiming no responsibility due to the fact that I had not purchased the plants from him. Has never come to even see. All I ask for is replacement of the plants. Not even a counter was made. No attempt for cust. satisfaction. In my opinion it was professionally irresponsible for them to take a job that they refuse to be responsible for.
