Two tables that were painted were stripped, stained and polished to perfection. Such nice gentlemen who knew what needed to be done to restore my family's old treasures. Thank you for such fine work.

I called Kell's and spoke with the owner Dwayne. I had an urgent job that had to be done within the week. I had 90 shelves I needed urgently sanding and finishing. Dwayne told me he was extremely busy and under pressure because of the rain effecting his drying process but said to bring them by and he would get them done for me. When I picked them up there were 150 shelves not 90! I arrived at Kell's and confessed that the work order had nearly doubled in size. Dwayne could not have been more helpful or understanding. I could see that it would put them under even more pressure but despite this Dwayne still gave his word that the job would be done. Well they got it done and I know they worked late evenings and over the weekend to get it finished for me. In this day and age it is refreshing to still find service businesses that don't try and rip you off and are willing to go the extra mile for the customer at times of crises. Many thanks to Dwayne and the team at Kell's. I would highly recommend this business to anyone with furniture or wood of any type that needs work. They care!

They took my grandmother's old and beat up dining room set, including the china cabinet, and made it look fantastic. I can't believe how well it turned out. In addition, they are very reasonable with their pricing. I had about 10 estimates and Kell's was on the lower end as far as price. I couldn't imagine the furniture turning out better.

It's really nice to see that in todays world there are people like those at Kell's that really care about doing a great job and giving customer service that is the best. They refinished our dining set, chairs and all not only do they look like new but the workmanship was "Old School Great". Call them for your next furniture repair or refinishing!

Over the past ten years,Kell's has refinished and/or repaired many, many various pieces of furniture for our family. Most of these would be considered antique and of significant value. The balance consists of utilitarian pieces, even outdoor furniture, that needed painting. In every instance we have been consistently impressed and pleased!

I contacted Kell's to refinish a desk, they arrived the same day and gave me a price on the spot. The Desk was finished before the time frame I requested. BUT, most important, the work was fantastic. Not only did the refinish the desk they went above and beyond and tightened up all the loose legs and drawer pieced as well. The desk looks amazing in my Husband's Alpharetta Medical office!!!

I recently purchased an antique lamp table with clawfoot, glass feet. It had been in a damp basement for years, so I wanted it "spiffed" up. I took it to Kell's and when I got it back, I literally caught my breath! It was lovely. The glass feet shone like they were brand new and the gold-tone adornment had been hand-painted back to it's original luster. Thanks to Kell's, the table is a proud addition to my home.

I have seen several pieces owned by others that have been refinished by Kell's, and they do top-notch work. This business has been in Alpharetta for many years, and they have a reputation for getting things done right.

I contacted Kell's to repair an antique dining table. Something heavy that was placed on the table broke one of the legs. Dwayne and one of his employees came to the house, checked out the table, and took only the leg that was broken to the shop for repair. Within a few days, they had repaired the leg and returned and reattached it to the table. They have been refinishing and repairing furniture for my family for many years. Wouldn't think of using anyone else!

Recently we had acquired some antique furniture. We called Kell's and their person came over. We had a wood kitchen chair with a broken arm and a very old Telephone desk that was needing some glue to put a side flap back on. The wooden chair arm doesn't feel sturdy and you can see where it was broken. But the really upsetting story was on the telephone desk. When they brought it back there was a very noticeable gap where the repair was done. It is supposed to be flush like the other side so I told them to redo it. About a week later they came back and now there was a smaller gap that you can pull a dollar bill through, better but not flush. We were told that it was the best they could do. Silly me and I thought that both sides were supposed to look the same. From our experience we will never use them again.

We stand behind our work 100% and are troubled to read this negative review. We were aware the customer was not happy initially and did additional work to ensure their satisfaction. Prior to reading this review we were not aware that they were not happy with the work done on the chair. The telephone stand was an older piece and, as happens with many older pieces, had uncorrectable flaws due simply to age and use. We could not restore it to perfection but did significantly improve its integrity. They did not voice concerns about the work done when the pieces were redelivered and we left thinking they were satisfied customers.
Kell's refinished an old dresser I have had for years. They did an amazing job and their price was very reasonable. Now the dresser that looked like a flea market find looks like the beautiful antique it is! I highly recommend their work.
