AC started blowing warm air on a hot 95 degree day. Called Kemper HVAC and he showed up within just a couple of hours. Amazing response time. He checked different components in the system before... suggesting his fix. The AC is blowing nice and cold now. Highly recommend.VIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »
I have to disagree with some of those reviews, but understand we all have differences so, I have had very GOOD experiences with Mr. Kemper, he has been to my home for 3 different issues with my unit... (none which was his fault). He has fixed all issues with no problems at all. Thanks so much. JenniferVIEW MORE »VIEW LESS »

Bought a house where the previous owners had a compressor and furnace installed by these folks. The inspector noted that it had not cooled below 76 degrees in the 4 hours he had been there. I noted it, but knew the unit had just been installed so I felt confident that we could work with this folks. The guy called telling my wife was on his way, never giving his name. He walks in and says it feels pretty cool in here to me (10am, not the heat of the day). Went outside and to check the freon level and came back and said "it is doing all it can do I don't know what you want from it". She said will you talk to my husband. I got on the phone with him (he has yet to give a name) and I asked him if the unit is big enough for the house and he said "it was the same one that was in it". I said is it big enough for the house and he repeated the same answer. I said let me clarify, in your "expert" opinion is the unit big enough for the size of the house? He said you are getting a 15 degree drop in temp and that is all you can expect. Still not the answer to the question I asked. I said is there anything more we can do. He said change the coils. I asked how much. He said $1200. I said ok thanks. He handed the phone to my wife and said call if you need anything else and walked out of the house.

Mr. Kemper had one of his installers do the work to install a whole new system. (Furnace and AC) The installation was sloppy. The drain pipe was strained and didn't go down correctly such that water pools in the drain pipe. There where unsealed gaps between the duct work and the furnace unit. The insulation around the plenum was ripped during installation and not repaired or replaced. 2x4s in the drain pan were used to shim up the condenser unit to height. He did come and paint some goop on to try and seal the connection from the new furnace to the existing ductwork, but he seemed annoyed that he had to do anything to repair his company's shoddy workmanship. The drain pipe elbow cracked after a year, and because he didn't bother to put in a proper drain pan the water leaked onto, and created a large stain in, my ceiling without going into the drain pan at all. He decided that standing behind his installation was too much to ask. He not only said that he wouldn't stand behind his work, but that he would no longer do any work for me, despite his 10 warranty guarantee that he loves to advertise. Shoddy workmanship, doesn't stand behind his work, and lies on his site about an installation warranty. Find someone else to do the work that you need done. This is what I get for trying to go cheap on the AC installation.
