I have been taking my infant daughter here for about a year. Most of the experiences have been good. Sometimes the wait is longer than anticipated, but the staff is always friendly & the environment is enjoyable for her. They have salt water fish tanks, a train that runs throughout the waiting room & kids movies always playing (even in the rooms). I have tried two other pediatric offices in the area and was horrible disappointed.

We have been at K. Pediatrics for almost 4 years now and I would say the office has it's pros and cons. On the positive side: The nurses are friendly, for the most part, and we especially LOVE Hannah and Nancy/Nanci. The wait time is great compared to some other places we've been. The office is super kid friendly and my kids love the trains, fish tanks, and all the other cool stuff there is to look at. Also, we love that they have weekend appointments because my kids often seem to get sick on Saturday or Sunday. On the negative side: They have sick and well child rooms, but don't do a very good job of policing them so we often see sick kids in the well child waiting area. My kids always seem to get sick after we visit, even when it's for a well child check up. Some of the doctors are lacking in personality. I would recommend Dr. Long or Dr. Brugner. All the doctors are by the book, following AAP guidelines/suggestions for everything. For some this may be a positive, but I would prefer a more holistic approach to medicine. I would love if they had a osteopathic doctor on staff or maybe even a nurse practitioner. They are open to not vaccinating or delaying vaccines, but definitely not for it, and likely to lecture you. They're also likely to lecture you if you admit to co-sleeping with your baby. Bottom line, I'm sure the practice is better than most, but not the best fit for us.

I am so thankful for this office, staff and Dr. Long. You guys are always available. Even on a Sunday when people are resting from a long week. You guys are there working to provide great and quick service for the sick children. Not only are you providing great service, you are doing it with a smile. Thank you so much for your hard work and awesome service. My girls do not mind going to the doctors. They love the waiting area toys and the staff. Thanks again for all you do.

I have used Kennesaw Pediatrics for my 2 children for 7 years now and love everything about the practice! It's clean, professional, wait time is minimal, and appointments for well and sick visits are easy to get. This month Dr. Long actually saved my son from unnecessary pain and suffering twice...once due to a concussion and next due to outpt surgery recovery. My son was seen in other settings first, and both times I took him to see Dr. Long because he wasn't getting better. Dr. Long diagnosed additional issues, and my son was feeling great within 24 hours! All of the doctors and staff are wonderful!

I have been going to Kennesaw Pediatrics for 11 years. Dr. Long is my doctor of choice because he makes my kids and i feel so comfortable to talk about all our concerns. I have moved away from Kennesaw but still make the drive back every time my kids need care. Love them!!!

Dr. Brugner is awesome! We have been going here 2 years since our son was born and have never been treated so well. The place is cutting edge and the doctors are the best around. I WILL not go anywhere else

We WERE very happy with Kennesaw Pediatrics. Dr. Long, the office hours and overall practice were key reasons we chose the practice. HOWEVER, the physicians are NOT doing a good job of treating our two kids. When we bring our kids to the office, they always check for strep. If the screen is negative, the diagnoses is "viral syndrome" (with no further testing) and we are sent home. In the last month the we have had the following two instances: 1. 11 year old daughter brought in with early strep symptoms. Strep was negative and she was sent home. The next day, we took her to Walgreens and the strep was positive and she was treated with antibiotics...but a day later and after exposing other children. 2. 7 year old son brought in for typical sore throat and fever. Strep negative. Diagnosis was viral syndrome. NO FURTHER TESTING OR TREATMENT DESPITE THE MOTHER'S REQUEST TO DIAGNOSE AND OR TREAT. Took him to Walgreens the next morning and they tested for flu. Positive for flu B and treated with Tamiflu. Again a day late. As a APRN I DO FULLY understand the issues related to overtreatment/improper antibiotic use, but this is ridiculous. These are NOT isolated instances. We have discussed with Dr. Long these same problems before (failing to treat then getting diagnosis later and treating after several days of illness). He advised us that his physicians would err on the side of treatment since we had a history of such issues. This is not happening. We are not happy.

If you're looking for quality care and a top notch practice, then you have came to the right place. They have very convenient hours, seven days a week to treat your sick kids. All of my children go there and I have always been very pleased with the qualify of care they have received with the nurses and doctors. The front desk is very friendly and never tries to rush you along. Filling out the new patient paper work online is a breeze and makes the first appointment go very smooth. Kennesaw Pediatrics is the third practice my children have been to and I can promise you this is the best!

Being the mother of 3 boys under the age of eight keeps me busy and often at the pediatricians. I can't praise this office enough. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The nurses and doctors take time with you and are easy to talk with when your a 'nervous mom'. We have moved around abit over the years and been to many different offices. We are so grateful to have found this one. You would have to go out of your way NOT to have a good experience with these folks. I recommend them highly!

Wonderful doctors! Dr. Brugner is the best! After researching many dr's offices in the area this one is by far the best. They are caring and really get to know your child. Lobby is great too, it has fish and trains! What more can a child ask for?

I just wanted to share .. Chloe is a patient of Kennesaw Pediatrics, which we love. We have always had good experiences there. Today we saw Dr. Babu and it was an amazing experience. Chloe, I am sure, is the typical child who hates "the table" because good things rarely happen there. Other doctors would walk in, cut off the movie, and mainly address us. Then, we would have to put Chloe on the table and hold her. Well, Dr. Babu left the movie on (Nemo) and addressed Chloe. She sat beside us in her chair and got to know Chloe on Chloe's level. She allowed Chloe to touch her as well as touch her instruments. When Chloe would get upset and anxious, she would point to the movie and talk to her about it. She checked Chloe out while Chloe was sitting in my lap, not on the table. We had to get on the table once so that her ears could be checked. And through it all, Dr. Babu really worked and making Chloe feel safe and comfortable with her. She also believes in Chicken Noodle Soup :) hahah ... Honestly, she is truly wonderful!! I HIGHLY recommend her, though ALL of the Doctors there are out of this world wonderful!!

It is extremely disappointing to all of us at Kennesaw Pediatrics when one of our families is dissatisfied and chooses to leave. We take great pride in our ability to maintain a warm and friendly practice, even as we have grown. Our growth has been steady over the past 6 years. With the growth, however, we have expanded the office, added staff and doctors and additional hours. Kennesaw Pediatrics is now open 7 days a week in order to provide the continuity of care and convenience we feel our families deserve. A sick child is always seen the same day. In addition, we schedule fewer daily appointments than the average pediatric practice, allowing more time for each patient exam. It is my strong belief that all of our doctors are respectful of and accessible to both our patients and their parents. We rely tremendously on parental input. Feedback from families, both positive and negative, is welcome. Parents can contact us directly, via email, telephone, or in-person to discuss concerns. Medicine is collaboration of people who can never be perfect all the time, even though we strive for that. In closing, I would like to say to the person,lchung1983, who reviewed Kennesaw Pediatrics that I welcome the opportunity to sit down with you and discuss to your concerns. Sincerely, Dr. Mark Long Founder and President of Kennesaw Pediatrics

Update: I would like to say that since posting my original review, I was able to get my daughter in for a sick appointment to see Dr. Long. He is, by far, the best pediatrician my children have seen. He is attentive, kind, patient and ALWAYS answers all of my questions...silly as they may be. As long as they are able to see him when needed, I will continue using Kennesaw Pediatrics. Previous Post: I started taking my daughters to this office a little over a year and a half ago. Since then, the office must have grown exponentially because I can never get in to see either of the two doctors that I actually like. Most of the doctors here are inaccessible and simply do not listen. One doctor even blatantly disregarded what I told him. It took fifteen minutes to explain to one of the assistants exactly which shot my daughter was supposed to be getting and, even then, I had to clarify with the actual doctor before they gave her the wrong shot. I would no longer recommend this office and am currently switching my children to a family practice that has time for their patients.
