Good Attorneys, Good Advice
I needed help with a criminal matter and these folks provided me with great advice and results. They advised me of my rights, worked with the prosecutors immediately and got back to me quickly with a result I could live with.

They were upfront with their fees, returned my calls quickly and made sure I knew what was going on at every point of my case. I certainly hope I never need a criminal defense lawyer again, but if I do, I will call Kerry Steigerwalt's Pacific Law Center without hesitation.

I Definitely Recommend
I called Pacific Law Center last year when I got into some legal trouble. I called around to other different law firms but they were all way too expensive. I didn't have much money since I'm a broke college student but we were able to come to an agreement on a flexible payment that I could afford.

I got the results I was looking for at a reasonable price. I Definitely Recommend Pacific Law Center if you don't have much money but need good, quality legal help.

Helped me very much
I can't think of a worse way to spend my money than on lawyers. Unless I need one. And I did a while back. I had a problem that got me into financial and criminal trouble and even though I 'd like to blame everyone else, it was all my fault. I put myself and my family at huge risk just because I was irresponsible.

I went to a couple of law firms and they wanted a lot of money (which I don't have) up front and I didn't really feel comfortable. I noticed the Kerry Steigerwalt Pacific Law Center ads on television and went to the web site and noticed Steigerwalt had just won a double-acquittal in a big murder case. That impressed me so I made an appointment, went in and was pleasantly surprised.

Everyone was very professional, they did my case for a lot less money and with a LOT less dough up front than the other firms I talked to and my case was resolved very quickly (the other lawyers predicted things would drag out -- which means they would get to charge more) and better than I thought it would. The Pacific Law Center lawyers are apparently very well-connected with prosecutors and judges which seems to be very important.

They also worked out a deal with me to help me clean up the financial mess I was in because of the trouble I got into. Again, their staff was very well connected with lenders and I was surprised at how fast things went.

Evasive, inept, unconcerned, incompetent...
I signed on with this firm to have a Chapter 7 BK done. Met with a paralegal, saw an actual attorney for a couple of minutes (he assured me he was a criminal attorney), why I do not know, why he was even there I do not know. I signed on with $490.00 up-front, $250.00 installments monthly. I could not afford them after reviewing my financial picture. I sent them a letter of "Discharge of Duties" on December 30, with return receipt, which I got back in the mail. I then began the wait to get back a portion of the funds ($490.00) they had already collected LESS a whopping $250.00 cancellation fee. I called in the first week of January 2010 & was informed they were working on it & no more funds would be siphoned out of my checking account. On January 20, a paralegal from the firm called me to ask if I had any questions about the upcoming Chapter 7. I told that person his firm was sent a Discharge of Duties notice 0n December 30, 2009, and asked why he wasn't aware of that. He provided no answer. Lo and behold, on January 25, 2010, they electronically deducted $250.00 out of my account. Inept, irresponsible and very sloppy on their part. I caught the transaction, called, and they stopped it. As of today, the paralegal handling the cancellation told me she would get it in front of a lawyer ASAP (same thing she told me in mid January), so I continue to wait. When I call her, (Jolene Smith), she just repeats the same old linewait & see. Kind of how they conduct business.

Pacific Law Center - waste of money
We are currently using the law center for a loan modification and they are HORRIBLE. First of all the "free" consultation is with a loan "adviser". He was not even a real attorney. In fact, he did not even know anything about the law. He was more of a sales person, who was only out to close the deal rather than have our best interest in mind. Secondly, we began the process back in March. It is now July and we have not heard anything from them despite numerous emails and phone calls. Third, our modification officer takes forever to return our calls or emails if she does at all. Last, their fee is outrageous. Basically the fee is 1% of your loan balance, which for us was 1% of $600K - ouch!! We had to pay the fee upfront too, more ouch, ouch, ouch!! We're very dissatisfied and have had no resolve. They could at least provide better customer service and keep our family up to date. We thought they would help us but we want our money back and will take over the modification process ourselves (if we can get out of our contract). I'm sure Pacific Law Center will find a way to keep our money!
