Randal Blake does pretty good brick work. There were a few things I wish he would have been done differently but over all I am very pleased. The one bad thing is that Randal left a mess with piles of mortar everywhere and when I withheld the last 50% of the invoice until he came back and cleaned up the mess he was less than happy about. Bottom line is Randal does good work if you are willing to keep an eye on it and make sure it is done to your satisfaction before you pay the invoice in full. Knowing this I would use his services again.

I paid this man to brick a fountain in my backyard, he said he would return Monday to finish the job, he was almost done but never returned, It is now Thursday 5:00 PM numerous attempts to call him but you go straight to voicemail. I would not recommend this guy to anyone.. Shame too as I had plenty more work for him, and he knew it. When you pay someone cash, like I did, and they disappear with very little left to do, you have to wonder and when anyone gets their hands on money and becomes indisposed for days on end like this (Read reviews, note the pattern.) you can be fairly certain they're struggling with "something". Makes no sense, he just had to come back and brush some flagstone, he would've gotten quite a bit more work, shame. Also I believe Randall and Blake are one in the same.

September 2011 Hired to reface brick chimney flue and vent exhaust hood thru flue. Did not finish brick work and left hole in side of chimney. I made mistake paid entire invoiced amount. January 2012 Blake has not returned calls. Wish I could post the photos of the hole in the chimney.

We waned to replace a wood front porch and stairs at the house entrance with brick and/or stone. Keystone came out and promised an estimate in a week. We never heard from them again. I called and left a message requesting our promised estimate, and they never responded. My message said just advise us if our job was too small, we would understand, but they never bothered to return the call. I'd have rated zero stars, but that is not an option.

Had the project been done correctly, I would be the first to recommend. In fact, I have other brick work that this company could have had. However, the new patio is sloped back toward the house and side shed. While he did "correct" the problem by the shed by putting a brick "curb", it wasn't something we wanted. The major problem though, water accumulating next to the house, is not being addressed. When contacted in February via e-mail, it was indicated it would be addressed within 3 days. I'm still waiting (August 3). This is after numerous phone calls and e-mails. Now, I will have to get someone else to fix the work. I'm still amazed that even after multiple discussions and concerns about slope, that the slope is completely incorrect.

Randell does great work and is very kind. However he is very bad at returning calls on anything. He did a great job on my flagstone walkway and stacked stone steps and walls in september 2008. But after three weeks a crack appeared across my whole sidewalk. I contacted randell and he said he would be out in a week. Ten calls and six months later still no randell. So forget about any warranty repair during his three year warranty period. A warranty is only as good as the man who gives it! Consider it to be till he cashes your check. To bad still need stone work.

I hired this company to rebuild a retaining wall at my house..they did a great job HOWEVER..they took all the extra dirt with rocks in it and dumped it on the roots of my huge pecan tree in my backyard. I told Mr Blake I was concerned about the roots and he told me they would be willing to move it if necessary. A few weeks later, I thought it was just dirt, so I went out to rake it around and found really big rocks along with the dirt. I called twice and left messages, Mr Blake called me back and said they woudl come move the dirt and rocks. I have since emailed him twice because they have never come back. They never asked me if it was ok to dump that dirt where they dumped it. If they had asked I would have told them of an alternative. I have already paid them and they are not responding to me..which to me means they never finished the job. I am truly disappointed in what could have otherwise been a good transaction. I will NOT be recommending them to my friends or neighbors.

We must say we feel this is a completely unfair assesment of our job. As soon as we were notified we informed the customer that personal business in Florida would delay us from geting there, but as soon as it was taken care of we would be there to move the dirt and rocks in question. This was agreed to by both parties. While we do apologize for any delay, family members take precedence over dirt and rocks.
This company is very easy to work with. I gave them the design, and they followed it perfectly, solving any problems quickly and without additional cost. They also made suggestions to reduce costs. The job was exceptional and I will definitely hire them again. Their years of experience paid off for me.

We hired Keystone for the 1st time in 1997 to re-install a brick & concrete patio damaged by a tornado. The patio was so nice we had them back in 2001 to add a sidewalk & parking area behind our home. Then in April `08 we completely renovated our backyard deck & patio area using Keystone for every phase. The results were nothing less than what we expected. Superb. We use many contractors on our old house, Keystone has given us our best contractor experience ever. D Ponticello

After seeing the finished results of our patio and walk we are happy to review Keystone Masonry and rank them a "5" in every catagory. They took our original idea and really turned into a concept that fit right in with the style of our home. Their choice of materials (Penn. Bluestone, Gray Antique Cobblestones & dark cement)were far beyond what we expected, and at virtually the same price as our (boring) choices. The kicker? They didnt take ANY money untill they were DONE and we were happy!?!? Too bad they dont do roofing... Dorian M.

Keystone Masonry recently finished a complete patio renovation at our Morningside home. They were very knowledgeble and professional from start to finish. The scope of the work included demolition of a large concrete and wood patio/deck and replacing it with a 3 tiered brick patio. They layed the brick in a Flemish bond and used a white cement, the finished product looks terrific. They even did the entire project with no downpayment. Our next project is a stone waterfall. We have already chosen Keystone for this project based on their performance. A 5-star company. William H Atlanta Ga

The fireplace we had Keystone Masonry install is beautiful. It is on our back patio and we have gotten more comments about the fireplace than anything else on our home. Arrived when they said, completed the job before planned date and didnt take any money down to start the job. Highly reccomended. M Baker
