At Kids 'N Us our primary goal is to provide a safe, loving, homelike atmosphere that will foster the social, and cognitive development of each child in our care.
To meet these goals, we have developed a strong program based on our belief that children learn by doing. Our Administrative and Teaching Staff have developed specific objectives for each of our programs.
The Kids 'N Us environment encourages learning through experience and accomplishment through adult encouragement and.. support. Through all activities we seek to encourage a positive self esteem, creativity, independence, self awareness and problem solving. Our flexible hours, parent resources, family functions and parties reflect our commitment to serving the total family.
I am not one to post reviews but after my co-worker suggested trying Kids N Us I thought I should. I have had my children in and out of care since they were babies and recently i returned to work. I went and visted several but they all left me feeling uneasy. My co-worker suggested Kids N Us becuase her children have gone to the Marysville center since they were babies and now are in elementary school, so I did. Let me tell you THE BEST DECISSION EVER!!! They are quality, from the top to the bottom - I met with the Director at Marysville, took a tour, visited classroom, learned about security features, and met teachers. My only issue was I lived in Granite Falls and would have to alter my route to work to drop off in Marysville but then the Director told me Kids N Us has a location in Lake Stevens!!! I can tell you we have been happily attending the Lake Stevens location for some time now. Thank you for the excellent information I received from not only my co-worker but the director at Marysville!!!

The rates at Kids N Us are expensive, way too expensive for what you get. They try to suck you in with the secured entrance and online camera viewing (teachers know where the blind spots are and often put fussy kids there). The site is old, dirty, and WOULD NOT be licensed by todays licensing standards (safety: lack of exit doors, room sizes). There is an exit door in the front and two in the back. Most classrooms only exit into each other or a tiny hall. The staff don't take infants out during fire drills because it is too difficult. Nor do the infants get outside time. Imagine if a real disaster happened! The infant room is tiny (shouldn't be licensed for 8 and wouldn't if remeasured!). Mold (condensation) forms on the windows in the toddler and infant rooms. There aren't windows in the preschool rooms. Staff turnover is big! The chairs have chipping paint or peeling plastic. The site has old furnishings yet tuition keeps rising!
