The teachers and staff are amazing and many of them have been there for many years. They care about the kids AND the community they are in. Not to mention the school is clean, spacious and beautiful.

My wife and i was very excited to place our child in this daycare. However, very quickly I could tell his new teacher was not that favorable of him. After only 2 days as I watched the camera I saw that her handling of him in my mind was a little" rough," but not over the top (I should have stepped then but I didn't want to overblow the situation) . The next week, I was out of town,I watched the cameras to see my child and couldn't find him. I went back to earlier in the morning and saw that the teach had JERKED him out of his seat and placed him in an isolated place. I immediately called the center and they looked back at the video and agreed with what I had stated. However, then treatment of the situation was not to my liking. They said that they talked to the teacher involved and the other teachers in the room and said it looked worst than what it was. And so they placed the teacher back in the class with the teacher. I was LIVID! My wife went up there talked with owner with me on the phone and got our kid and he has never been back. I filed a complaint with Decal and they did an investigation and found that the teacher mishandled my child. However after viewing the report no one would ever no what happened so that is the reason I write this review. Updated 11/19/2015 All, I can say to the Kids r Kids reply is the State of Georgia agreed with me regarding their mistreatment of my child. Look up the DECAL report and contact the counselor.

We are very sorry to hear these comments because Kids ‘R' Kids of Mableton really strive to partner with parents to ensure the absolute best in care and education for the children. We do not publicly comment on individual private cases but we will describe a general context of our policy and procedures.
Regarding discipline, we use the principles of Love and Logic to guide children toward appropriate behavior. Love and Logic is a philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in the interactions with children. Love and Logic will allow teachers to set limits with enforceable statements and neutralize student arguing while developing positive teacher/student relationships. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices. Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares young people to live in the real world, with its many choices and consequences. (The use of physical punishment or harsh language is prohibited.)
All teacher complaints are thoroughly investigated supported by the 24/7 cameras and recordings available throughout this school. Once the facts are established they are considered by the School Directors and any transgression is dealt with in an appropriate and proportionate manner.
We are truly grateful for what Kids R Kids Mableton has provided our children. We recognize and appreciate the hard work and dedication the amazing staff puts into making KRK Mableton the "home away from home" for our children. My husband and I have enjoyed watching our children develop academically and socially. We could not be prouder of both of them and we realize that the entire staff at Kids R Kids Mableton has been an integral part of their overall achievement. We know from experience, as new parents, it is hard to trust someone else to love, care and teach our children when we are not there - we were very fortunate to find all of this at Kids R Kids.

We have enjoyed our time as part of the KRK Mableton family. The growth that our children have had has been amazing. The teachers helped to push us to let our babies become kids. We are constantly amazed by what they bring home from school. Thank you to the owner and rest of the administration, teachers and chefs for taking such good care of our babies. It means the world to us.

I witnessed my child being physically forced to lay down during nap time while other children were still chatting and playing with each other. As with many schools, it appears teachers have their favorites and give mild attention to others. KRK policy also states that they isolate sick children which never happens and causes sickness to spread. There isn't enough space to finish commenting on here!

My son was at Kids R Kids for a year and we were truly pleased. The ONLY reason we left was due to a move. I will say that we have toured several facilities and none of them can even come close to Kids R Kids Mableton. This is the VERY best school out there and it's worth every penny spent! You will not be disappointed

Being a brand new mom, I was concerned with the care that my little one would receive at this or at any other center. I thought no one would care for my baby as well as I or my family could. My son, who is just over 6 months old, started attending this center about 2 weeks ago and so far, I am very pleased with the care that he is receiving. I try to spend time with him there every morning, so I get to talk to his caregivers and watch them work with the other babies. They are sssooo nice and it is obvious that they have been doing this for a long time. They know each baby by name and they keep the place very clean. The staff has always been very nice although I don't interact with them so much. I love the camera feature because I can watch him from work. While I was apprehensive at first, I am glad that he is attending this school. He gets to watch other kids and I think he is learning from them. Overall, a pretty darn good place and I am not easy to please. RE: the few negative reviews, I would say that you receive what you bring...if you are rude to the folks and treat them like they are your servants, then you will probably be disappointed. I appreciate all the love and attention they give my baby. Of course I would love to have one person fully devoted to my son, but given the obvious constraints, I am very happy with KRKs.

We couldn't be more pleased with Kids R Kids Mableton. Our son attended two other centers before coming to Kids R Kids and we can honestly say that we have never dealt with a better group of teachers and administrators; they are PHENOMENAL. Their devotion to the children is incredible and they know each of them by name. Our experience here has been more like an extended family than a school. The center is culturally diverse and academically challenging. The children have homework every week and we are amazed at what Amanda (Mrs. King), our son's kindergarten teacher, is able to accomplish. It is obvious to us that she loves what she does because it shows. You can assure that no child in her class will be left behind, but be prepared to work. If you are a potential parent looking for a school that will provide your child with a solid foundation, I highly recommend Kids R Kids Mableton; they have exceeded our expectations.

Constant relvolving door with teachers, Adminstration team had attitudes, curruculum was poorly executed. My child complained that the food was "not food" and she was always still hungry. They were very nice in the beginning but that soon changed.I would recommend you place your child else where. For all the money we spend there are better schools in the area.

I have read the various reviews listed here about the 'Kids R Kids' located at 20 Veterans Memorial Highway SW, Mableton. Just thought I should share my experience too. The front desk and the staff were very friendly during their first interactions with us. But, things were not always the same. When they were not able to deliver what they promised, they changed very aptly according to the situation. It was then that I realized that they can make up excuses and vivid stories to try to prove that they are always right. They can even lie their way out. They are not honest about a lot of things and I was very surprised to know that they are very meticulous in fabricating stories. I just want to make a point to the parents - how can we trust our children with such staff when they know how to wiggle their way out of situations when they are in a soup. It would have been more honorable to just say - 'yeah, it did happen and what is it that we can do to revert the situation'. Especially when it involves little children, its always better to be safe than sorry.

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how much I trul appreciate Kids R Kids, and what a great experience it has been for our family. My daughter started at KRK when it first opened and she was two and a half. I was so pleased with her development as a student and her social skills growth. Thanks to the excellent staff, she was equipped with an extremely strong foundation and was ahead of many of her peers when she started kindergarten last year. I know that a big part of her success in Kindergarten was the learning, nurturing and self confidence she gained during her years at KRK. Layton was in a gifted program and was reading at second grade level. A special thanks to Ms. Pamela for running an awesome afterschool program that continues to reinforce a love of learning and spirit of fun that are at the heart of everything she does. While I know that what we do with her at home is important, I am so glad that her KRK family helped propel her to excellence. We are thrilled that our youngest will be starting in a couple of weeks.I know he will have the same great experience that our daughter did. I'm looking forward to having him there and working with his teachers to nurture his development. Thank you again for everything you do for all of your students and parents everyday.

Both our kids have been with Kids R Kids since their doors opened in November 2006. We've enjoyed our experience tremendously and highly recommend it to parents who are looking for a great preschool for their children. (By the way, I am a picky parent and I tried 2 others before I stayed at KRK). As a parent, it is very comforting to know that while you can't always be there with your child, he/she has a teacher who loves him and has his best at heart. I love the fact that my child has had the same teacher throughout his/her term in that class and I don't have to deal with a new teacher every month. In my mind, 4 things set Kids R Kids Mableton apart from other preschools: 1. Stability of great teachers, 2. Very good communication with parents 3. Great curriculum/ /hands on learning and 4.Ability to watch my kids from work Thank you for all you do for our kids. Yamini and Arif Virani

This daycare is wonderful. My son is in room 300 with Miss Angie, Miss Ashley, and Miss Jeanette. He was at another daycare and was so unhappy to go,crying everyday when I picked him up and filthy. Here, he fusses a normal amount and then is fine. He is clean, smiling and happy when I pick him up. I love the video feature so I can watch him at work. The center owner AND director are wonderful and helpful. Clean, safe with wonderful features. THANK YOU!!!

I have been a parent of a child attending Kids R Kids in Mableton since opening day in Nov 2007. I have been so happy and amazed to see the growth in the school. The Owner and Directors really care about all the children including mine. The emphasis on Art is also been so great! They had a great local artist paint a huge mural in the common areas and they are adding Dance, Culinary Arts, Ball Sports, a Computer Lab,Music, & Spanish to the curriculum at no extra charge! We could not be more pleased... My 3 year old is reading words!!! Great School!!!!
