KRK is the best daycare, pre-school in East Cobb. I toured 5 different schools in the area, and was impressed with the teachers, "Watch me Grow" program, and in house chef -- Mr. Mike. The teachers not only provide love and support for our children, but also give me piece of mind they are being well cared for during the day while I am away. Out of the 5 schools I toured, this is not something you can put a price on. The owner also takes care of his employees, thus, they are on staff for many years without a high ratio of turn over. Also, to further give me piece of mind during the day, the "Watch Me Grow" cameras also provide me to view my child's activities during the day. Lastly, Mr Mike is amazing. His in house cuisine enables the children to try different foods I may not cook at home, which results in a new kid favorite. Over all, I have been very pleased with KRK and highly recommend to any prospective families moving to the East Cobb area.

I have had both of my kids at Kids R Kids on Johnson Ferry since they were infants. We have had a wonderful experience in all of the classrooms. My oldest is heading into their preK program in a few weeks and I am certain this class will be as great as the others. The curriculum is very structured and at the same time keeps my sons interest. I couldn't be happier!

Kids R Kids Johnson Ferry is simply amazing. When I was pregnant with my twins I visited 4 places in the east cobb area. After my KRK visit I immediately put my girls on the waiting list for admission. They started when they were 1, now we are about to enter Pre-K and we could not be happier with our decision. The teachers and entire staff are the most compassionate, caring, and dedicated people I have ever met. They have become like family to us and we trust them with our precious children every day with no reservations whatsoever. They ask for advice and really listen to the parents suggestions such as healthier snacks and whole grain foods. They all know parents and children by name and it a true comfort to know they are teaching my children. I wish we could stay there forever, but I will truly cherish my last year with them. I have always ms will continue to recommend friends to KRK. My girls love it as much as we do, and that is the best testament ever.

Kids R Kids East Cobb (Johnson Ferry) is just amazing. Both of my children love it there. The teachers are caring. They not only care for their own students but the students in the other classes as well. The included enrichment programs are a huge educational boost (such as Mandarin, Spanish, Yoga & Music). Kids R Kids also offers additional activities that the children may participate in such as Dance, Soccer & Gymnastics. There are many great pre-schools in East Cobb, but Kids R Kids is the best and I wouldn't send my children anywhere else!

i absolutely love KRK. My daugther has been there for over 4 years & is graduating from PreK in a couple of weeks. It's the best decision we have made for the start of her education. I highly recommend this daycare/PreK for any parent; especially a first time parent!

My child has now been in the infant room for several months and I am quite disappointed. When I toured, I was told that the teachers use sign language to assist with language development and structured activites, such as storytime occur. Neither of these occur - you can watch what is happening on a live video feed (which is a plus), therefore you know EXACTLY what is happening daily. The "lead teacher's" grandson is in the class, which I do not view as fair, as her attention is likely to go to him first, rather than the other kids. I am currently investigating other childcare options. The teachers seem nice, but with no structure and no true curriculum, I am forced with no other option than to seek a better learning environment (and not just a place where they plop my child in a swing, bouncer, or exersaucer all day).

Thanks so much for your opinion. As the owner of this child care center and preschool for the last 13 years, I invite you to contact me directly and we can discuss any specific concerns you might have. I seek and appreciate any and all parent feedback. We actively monitor parent satisfaction through regular anonymous parent surveys and I am proud to say we have a 99% parent satisfaction rate based on our latest June 2013 Parent Survey. We work hard to hire only the best and most professional teachers and caregivers by paying above market wages and doing an exhaustive screening process on each applicant. We are extremely proud of the fact that our average Lead teacher tenure is over 10 years! Our Lead Infant room teacher whom you refer to in your post has been with us since we opened in July 1997. She is a neonatal nurse by training (RN), and has cared for more than 400+ babies (including my own) in her lengthy career. Parents adore her and repeatedly return to our center after giving birth to siblings just because of this teacher. I trust her professionalism enough to know that she did not show any favoritism to her grandson while he was in her classroom (he has since moved on). I actually think the fact that she would send her own grandson to our preschool is a ringing endorsement. As for classroom curriculum, our center is both nationally and state accredited (both very difficult to achieve), and we have won our franchisor's Platinum award for overall quality and excellence - including curriculum adherence - for the last 7 years in a row (every year that it has been given). So I respectfully disagree with your assertions.
Well, I have 6 kids, two which have graduated from KrK preschool and pre-K and two that are still there. I can with all sincerity say that this school has exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Their teachers are great, and the administrative staff is truly interested in providing an outstanding experience in every sense. My family has had some difficult times here lately, and they have shown true compassion in working with us through it, I don't know what i wouldve done without them. My kids that graduated from there were very well prepared for kindergarten, better than kids that went to the much more expensive and snobby school down the street. Relatively recently they added video cameras that we can watch from anywhere with an internet connection, and it's always a pleasure to see my kids so happy and well cared for. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Our family has had a fantastic experience here. The front office staff is great & the teachers/assistants enjoy being with kids. The owner, Frank, listens to parents and takes action when appropriate. Recently I was concerned about mosquitos near the playground. Frank was spraying every weekend - when that didn't work he hired a company to come in and take care of it. Also they include extra curricular activities like Spanish, Chinese, Yoga, etc in the cost of the tuition. The chef, Mike, makes sure the kids have healthy food choices. You'll love this place! (And yes, this is a parent writing this :)

I have a 16 month old son. Both of us love this place, his teachers are very loving and take good care of him. he has become a very independent and social child and i know he is well taken care of as there have been times when he did not want to come back home with me! They are clean, caring and provide good food and an enriching environment for the children.

We started using Kids R Kids when my son was a little over 2 years old, and he was there through Pre-K at 5 yrs. He quickly learned that he had to get along with other kids, then it was on to potty training and after that, learning the fundamentals of sitting in class and paying attention to the teacher. He loved Mr. Mike's Mac & Cheese at lunch, and all the teachers. They gave him a great foundation of learning, taking care of his personal needs and being respectful of other children.

The Kids R Kids on Johnson Ferry is like our extended family. The staff is warm, helpful and genuinely love the kids. The facility is bright, secure and clean. There are three playgrounds designated for certain age groups that are large and well kept and include a waterpark that the children enjoy in the summer. They offer extra curriculars such as dance, music, Spanish, martial arts and playball which make the children's experience more like school instead of daycare. The menu is balanced but seasonal meals are incorporated on various holidays to make it fun. Several of the teachers have been there for over 10 years who are very sought after and their Pre-k program is second to none. They receive excellent feedback from top east Cobb kindergarten teachers who attest to their program (I have heard this from parents with older children who would have told me otherwise if it wasn't true). Most important to note is that our kids are happy and comfortable there. It's structured

Our 2 year old had been at another center in East Cobb and cried every time we left her. So we put our name on the waiting list at Kids R Kids because several people in our neighborhood recommended it. We had to wait a few months to get in, but it was well worth it! Now, when we drop her off, she runs to her teacher and hugs her, and tells us to "go on mommy, I'm fine". The internet classroom cameras are great and allow us to look in on her and give us great comfort. The front desk staff seems attentive and professional. They took the time to call me on her first day there and tell me how her day was going. They read my mind! We also love the music teacher, Mr. Joee.
We have had 3 children at this center over the 10 years they have been open. Julie, the Director, has been there since it opened and we just love her. Ms. Lucy in the infant room has also been there for 10 years and all 3 of our children have had her. The staff is professional and knowledgable, and they genuinely care about our children. After my oldest daughter graduated from Pre-K at Kids R Kids, her Kindergarten teacher at Sope Creek Elementary shared with us that the kids she sees from Kids R Kids are the best prepared kids in her class. The extras like music and art help to make well rounded children. I do not know what we would have done without the staff at Kids R Kids! Thanks!
The morning staff has no clue as to what is going on. The teachers send my child out into the cold to play without a jacket, (it was hanging on her coat hook. The owner keeps jacking up prices so quickly that my son's tuition is the same now, he is 4, as it was when he was an infant! Couple all of this with the fact that the school feels like the ceiling is going to cave in, (look up as you tour), and it just doesn't add up to the exhorbitant rates they charge!
All of our staff are well trained and professional. Our rates reflect the quality of care and education we offer. We are not the cheapest, but we are not the most expensive. We tend to attract parents who are looking for a high quality extended day preschool, and not just a babysitting service. We offer Music, Mandarin Chinese, and Yoga for no additional cost. We are nationally accredited by NAEYC and a Georgia Center of Distinction (one of only 63 out of 2800 licensed preschools in all of Georgia!) We do tend to stay quite full with waiting lists in most classrooms, so we must be doing something right.
