The owner & employees are very good at covering up the truth about events that happen to the children while under the care of Kids-R-Kids. This type of behavior starts at the top with the owners and is carried on to the upper and middle management, and then to the teachers. A culture of leadership that is expected of all employees. This school has been under investigation by the State of Georgia and the Accredition Organization for this Kids-R-Kids location. They lie to the parents, when questioned regarding things children have disclosed to their parents, that happened under their care at Kids-R-Kids. If leadership is willing to lie directly to parents about occurrences that happen to children at this Kids-R-Kids location and this is the message promoted to the staff to follow in communicating with parents. As a parent, one cannot trust and feel safe leaving any child in the care of this facility. And the organization has personally disclosed to me as a parent, that they don't exactly follow very important policies, setforth by corporate Kids-R-Kids. Really think twice before entrusting your child to the care of this facility and do not be fooled by the wonderful sales pitch & professional videos on the website for this location of Kids-R-Kids. Please do more investigating, before putting your child in this location, because safety, security, and caring of your child & peace of mind is critical for you & your child. I learned this hard lesson too late as a parent.

For those parents thinking about bringing your innocent children to this facility, just know that sometimes, cameras may not work and sometimes no adult will be supervising your child, which means that your child may have to be rushed to Urgent Care after being picked up. And if you dare take action against your child being neglected in such a grossly unacceptable manner, you may be attacked as an overbearing, money-hungry, hypochondriac despite the fact that what you truly are is a caring parent of a child, in this case, with special needs. If you're okay with that, fine. But...take a good hard look at the precious baby's face who was assaulted while under the "care" of this facility. THAT IS THE REVIEW.

My son has been at kids r kids since he was 7 months old. He attended daycare, pre-k, and is now in the after school program. My husband and I have been very pleased with the care and education he has been given. When he was a toddler he needed occupational therapy and KRK helped me find the right therapist for him and arranged for the therapist to come to their center 2 times a week. He also had some special dietary needs and again KRK were very accommodating to this. My son is happy, outgoing, kind, and polite, and KRK helped instill those values in him. All of the staff know his name and have always had his best interest at heart. Not once have I ever worried about his happiness or safety while being there. Any questions I had were answered quickly and honestly by management whether by phone call or email. As a working mom it's very important for my peace of mind to know that my son is in a good place, and kids R kids is an excellent one.

The owner solely is interested in profit and will lie to you at every turn. The personnel could care less and leave children unsupervised. I have been overwhelmed by their continued rude behavior and mistreatment of my daughter. Don't be fooled by this organization as I was. Take your child and run far from this place. It's not worth your peace of mind.

My children have been at this center for the past 4 years. My 2 youngest, now 2 and 4, have been here since the infant room. This place is our home away from home. My children have learned so much from their caring and loving teachers! My oldest child attended another facility for a short time and was miserable. We switched to Kids R Kids Pleasant Hill and have been so happy!

These people do not care for your child at all. They see the children as pure profit. They feed your child cheap food. They keep the doors open and it is not safe at all for your child. Some of the teachers look like they were picked up in the street. If your child gets hurt they don't tell you unless your child display some marks WTH! I will never send my child to this place never again! They never sanitize the toys even though they have the sanitizing equipment on site. All of the toys are out of batteries and they look like they have not been cleaned for years. You pay over $1000 to have your child treated this way. Save your money...and your CHILD!

I wish you would have taken as much time to address your concerns when your child attended, as none of these concerns were brought to our attention by any of our customers. You posted anonymously so I'll address you now: At Kids R Kids Pleasant Hill Learning Academy, every child is important to us and is treated as an individual. We take pride in the relationships that we develop with our families. As we posted before, we feed 200-250 children breakfast, two snacks, and lunch daily. Our menus not only comply with the guidelines of the Federal Food Program, they exceed them. We recently received the Georgia Shape Award in recognition of our health-conscious menus. Substitutions are offered to accommodate special dietary needs. Our front door is monitored by management, and there is a security lock that we control. Customers are nice and often hold the door open for each other. We see this. We also have security cameras monitoring our parking lot, doorways, and classrooms. We provide incident reports to guardians in the event an accident happens. Usually we call the parent and send a photo of any marks that appear. Sometimes children get minor scrapes and cuts when they play. These are not always apparent, especially if the child is content. Toys children play with are either sanitized chemically or in our ZONO machine daily. They are used by multiple children, replaced when broken, and maintained properly. Our staff members wear uniforms that are designed to allow them to comfortably play with children on the floor at their level. Each is educated in Early Childhood Education, and is trained to care for children in group a setting. At Kids R Kids, we understand that parents are overstressed and busy. Perhaps you could have communicated better and you would have been happier. More than 200 other Kids R Kids Pleasant Hill Learning Academy customers don't share your concerns. Once again, I'm sorry you had a bad experience at our location, if you were actually a customer here.
We have only been using daycare in the ATL area for about 7 months and have been nothing but happy with Kids R Kids. After having been a stay at home mom for 4 years they helped my family adjust to the changes and love my girls when they have them. My girls love their teachers as well as all the extra activities offered. They look forward to the field trips and dance days!

Kids R Kids - Pleasant Hill truly embodies what a childcare learning facility should be. The administrators and the teachers embrace the family, not just the child. I appreciate the detailed information that I get from the teachers in the one-year old AND the four-year old private Pre-K classrooms. When we first moved to Duluth, my boys were in a childcare facility where I'm pretty sure they learned nothing. My oldest could never recall anything he did learned all day and there was no correspondence to me about what was being taught. Private Pre-K: Now, not only do I know what to expect for the year, I have detailed descriptions as to what will happen each week. I really love that they take field trips twice a month too. The teachers use ABC Mouse as a part of the curriculum and integrate technology via tablets and a smart board too. One Year Old Class: The teacher is already starting my youngest to potty train with no tears! The children complete an art project at least three times a week. I also like that they read books to the children daily. I highly recommend this particular Kids R Kids!

My daughter Maddie has been going to Kids 'r' Kids #27 for about a year and a half now and we are both very happy. The staff is always friendly and helpful, they have a clear love for kids, and my daughter is expertly cared for. She is a complete "Momma's girl" and always goes willingly into their arms. It is such a nice feeling to know that she is in good hands, and if I ever want to I can check in on the cameras and see what she is up to. I highly recommend this facility to any parent.

My son is 4 and has attended several other daycares since he was 6 weeks old. This Kid R Kids is hands down the best facility that I have ever seen. My son has been attending since March 2012. I have never once had an issue. Julie (the owner) and Stevie (the director) are always engaged and helpful. They are always available for me to talk with if I need anything. The teachers are kind and engaging. The facility is amazingly clean. My son has been sick markedly less since attending this school. He used to come home from other facilities sick every other week it seemed. It is surprisingly rare for him to be sick now, and I credit the cleanliness of this facility with that. For my son, I wanted a warm affectionate environment balanced against superior educational components. We get all that and more here. I hope you come see the love and care the entire team puts into the care of your child.

My son has been going to this KRK location since he was about 10 months old and he enjoys it. I changed his school for a few months but I ended up bringing him back to attend their private pre k. They offer a lot of extra curricular activities for the students. Ms. Grace in the private pre k is very good with the children, he's learned a lot since he's been there. It is usually clean and for the most part the staff is friendly.

My children have been going to Kids R Kids #27 since they were newborns. I brought my children there because the center was highly recommended by my co-workers, and now I have several friends with children who go to the center. I have always been pleased with the level of attention my children receive, and any concerns are addressed in a professional way. The staff has always been friendly and supportive.

My daughter has been here for several months now, after we switched her from another daycare. I have been very impressed with the cleanliness, organization and management of this facility. It is such a relief to be able to leave my daughter somewhere that she feels safe and enjoys her time here very much. Her teachers are patient and kind, and effectively communicate with me regarding her progress. I definitely recommend Kids R Kids Pleasant Hill Academy to my friends and family in the area.

It's always hard to entrust your kids to people who are not you, and we have trusted Kids R Kids Pleasant Hill Academy with our children since 2011. Julie (the owner) has always been open and approachable with any questions and concerns we have had, was extra sensitive to our needs concerning a child with special needs, and even our toddler now clearly looks forward to "baby school" and lights up when he gets there. I knew he was in the best hands with his current teachers when he wriggled out of my arms to run across the cafeteria just to give one of his teachers (Ms. Amy) a huge hug! We have been blessed to have had some amazing teachers, and have met some wonderful families here as well. And with WatchMeGrow, we can check in on our kids whenever we want.
