KRK was great, a year ago.

They started having issues with teachers leaving faster than they could fill positions. A number of teachers my kids LOVED. Now, the staff is stretched thin, and the "under construction" side of the building isn't fooling anyone. They don't have enough kids to use those rooms, and they don't have enough quality teachers to take care of the kids they do have.

4 1/2 years ago we caught a teacher borderline abusing a child in the attempt to wipe his nose. We complained and the teacher was removed (not fired - moved to the other building). Now she's back, and due to the lack of good teachers she is in charge of my child's room. Since we have seen her back we have seen her drag children, dump them on the floor when they are crying, and she even let the door close on one little girl. Who was throwing a tantrum.

I could go on and on with security issues. You want a kid? Walk in the front door and take your pick. No one will stop you if you say you are an aunt or uncle.

We are currently un-enrolling our children for better alternatives.

I've walked in many times and heard the teachers yell at the children. I wouldn't necessarily say that they were screaming but it was definitely a tone of voice that I would not use on someone elses child. I don't talk to my children like dogs and I would like to know that the people I trust to care for them will atleast have enough respect for me not to belittle my child. There is always a way to handle a disruptive child. You can't be on thier level yelling at them, you have to give respect them if you want them to respect you. Listen, listen, listen, no one likes to be ignored. Children are the FUTURE. We should cherish them.

My 2 children have been going to KidsRKids in Newnan for almost a year. They are separated into 2 buildings. Pre-k age and above in one building and non-school aged kids in another.

The building with the younger kids has been great. Love the teachers there, never had any problems.

The older kids building on the other hand is another story. They sell candy to the kids (which no one ever asked me if it was ok for my child to have candy there.) The older kids are allowed to bring iPods when school is out, which has exposed my child to some music lyrics I would of preferred she not yet of heard. I also had a problem for about 2 weeks they called me almost every day saying my child was sick and had a fever, but when I would get there to pick her up she would be bouncing off the walls playing. They were apparently taking her temp immediately after she had been running around outside playing.

The daycare is at the top of the price point for daycare centers already, but charges additional for your child to eat breakfast. My older child is a picky eater so on days when she is out of school and staying at the daycare I try to send her lunch with her. Apparently they have a no peanut butter policy (that no one is aware of) because they have a student that can't even smell peanut butter at all! Sure!

They charge extra for the pre-k students to eat lunch!

I am moving in a couple months and will be withdrawing my children then....

My son loves it here. They have lots of activities, language teacher. He's learning Spanish and suprises me sometimes with what he already knows!
