sk for Kim. I have tried many nail salon for my nails, but she does the best Pink & White that I have seen. She did my nail and I have no problem with them for 4 weeks. I like the way she shaped my nails; she was very gentle. I'm happy to find the right place.
I was a customer of Kim's nail but I don't go there any more because the owner are very rude and unfriendly. Today I went to Publix and saw a sign "New management". I decided to give it another try to see how they work. The new manager and her staff are very friendly, nice, very caring to all of the customer, and did a great job. The place are quite with soft music to provide a relaxing atmosphere. I'm glad to come back.
If you're an unsophisticated redneck that doesn't know how you're supposed to be treated in a good salon, then this place will be great for you. If you know what a good mani-pedi is, if you know what courteous service is, then stay away from Kim's Nail. I wish I could give zero stars. Took my 5 year old daughter for to have a mani-pedi with me as well. Pedicure was basic. Nothing special. When the owner went to do my nails I told her the shape that I wanted and that I needed one nail repaired but I liked the rounded square shape that I currently have. I also told her I would like the repaired nail to be thin because I noticed the girl before me had thick acrylic nails that couldn't look any faker if she had chiclets glued on each fingertip. She told me, "I'm going to try to fix it but if it doesn't look the way you like you can go somewhere else. Don't try to tell me how to do my job". You can't teach a person like that to be a human being. I didn't waste my time telling her off so I told her, "I'm going to do as you suggested and I will go somewhere else...right now." I got in my car with my nails without nail polish and went to Serene Nails on CObb Parkway as a walk-in and had a great manicure. Perfect, in fact. Sonny was amazing. By the way, my daughter wanted rhinestones on her nails and toes. ONe on each finger and toe. She had that done at Kim's nails. All the rhinestones had fallen off by the time we got to Serene Nails. Sonny fixed that too.
Their pedicure is really just cleaning your feet and changing your polish. If you want a pedicure like at a nice salon you have to ask for a special spa pedicure and pay $10 extra. I get a pedi every other week so I don't have bad callouses but they hardly did anything to my feet. The guy who did my feet was pleasant but the quality of the painting was far from the perfect pedicures you can't get just about anywhere in town. There is one guy and the owner who walk around with scowls on their faces and grunt at clients. If you want pampering, DON'T GO HERE!

I got my first manicure and pedicure today! Gah what a great experience! At first it was a little awkward for me because I'm not used to being pamper...
Make sure you ask for Tom - he does the best solar and diamond manicure in Kenensaw and he keeps his appointments!
