We love our new kitchen!, 10/09/2009

Dear Linda, Jack and I just want to thank you and Roger for making our remodeling project run so smoothly. We are so very pleased with the results and your people made it that way! Everyone that... worked at our house did such quality work and were so patient and polite when I couldn't make a decision on the spot! Jack couldn't believe it when Dan asked me if I wanted my clubroom painted for the THIRD time! I guess he just knew it wasn't right. Cuko also did an outstanding job on our floors and we just love them! Parrish had good ideas and really did a lot to help me complete the house. Also, Roger, I LOVE my ice machine!! Also, my stove!! Linda, you were a lifesaver and really did a super job of organizing everything and helping me with great advice! Also, Lindsay has helped me so much with the move! I don't know what I would have done without her help. Larry, Doug, Phil, Rick, Mike (I hope I didn't leave anyone out) all were super to work with and did an outstanding job! \r\rScharmayne and Jack\r\r

Best Kithchen Designer In Tulsa, 12/18/2008

What a wonderful experience we had totally redoing our 1950's kitchen, incorporating our great room by just removing a partial wall. Roger came up with our design in a matter of minutes, all I can... say is WOW! I loved his team approach from his expertise to design with work stations in mind, I loved his carpenters, they felt like family and when completed I think I had separation anxiety!!! When questions arose Roger always listened to our concerns and we worked through them which made the most of our space, flow and needs for fun, food, family and friends to gather.

Kitchen Ideas gave us our dream kitchen!

After purchasing a home built in 1965, it was in desperate need of a new design incorporating the kitchen and family room as one to accommodate our family and allow us to grow in this home. Kitchen Ideas not only came up with the most amazing design we could have imagined, but from the drawing board to the end result, it was the best project we have tackled yet and could not be happier with our new kitchen! Kitchen Ideas has a great team all around and helped us accomplish everything in getting our dream kitchen! Thank you Roger and the entire team at Kitchen Ideas!

Great Team at Kitchen Ideas!

After visiting every kitchen design showroom in Tulsa, I had little hope of finding one who could think creatively with me for the kitchen of our newly-purchased home. But when I walked into Kitchen Ideas, my faith was restored. Roger Shollmier is the Best! He helped us transform an outdated 1970s kitchen into a stunning space that Better Homes and Gardens chose to feature in one of their books. The project was one of the most rewarding things I have done in my life. The investment more than paid off, when we sold the home for almost double what we paid for it. Thank you, Roger!

Good design, all else poor

I would definitely avoid Kitchen Ideas of Tulsa. After a lenghty kitchen remodel I am very disappointed. We chose them over several other companies primarily based upon their design for our remodel. During the project however, there were features of that design which were in one case simply not feasable and in another case just not incomporated from the plan to my kitchen. I could have insisted after the fact and paid for additional labor to undo that which had been done and redo as per plan had I wanted to invest more money to cover their mistake. \rMostly their mistakes are those related to a lack of oversight. They did not supervise our job closely, then when I brought an issue to their attention, which is my opinion is doing their job for them at the level this was occurring, I was often given lip service that it would be resolved. At the end of the project I learned their resolution is to say sorry, we can not do anything about that now. \rThis was a relatively straight forward project and did not have to be so difficult. I would consider getting a design idea from the owner, paying him for this service, and then walk down the street to someone else to build the design. One star for the plan. Zero stars for the construction.\red
