Knuckle up in Sandy Springs in Alpharetta is the best gym I've been a member of and I've been with two previous gyms. The services are top notch as are the instructors, trainers, and management. Yes a contract was involved with a low monthly fee. Been there a little over 3 years and in the best shape ever. Great self-confidence and discipline builder. I believe it can change your life.

They gladly take your money to join the gym, but to try to cancel is the biggest headache. I was told to call a phone number where the voice mailbox was full. I was told to email someone where the message would bounce back with the following message: "The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. " I tried to call ABC Financial directly and they can't cancel your account without you contacting the above referenced email or phone number. So if you want to be a life member at Knuckle Up, the the work out is great and it's definitely a challenge. If not, the hassle isn't worth the pounds lost.

Craig's boot camp at Knuckle Up should not be missed! It is challenging and difficult, but fun at the same time. I normally do not enjoy working out with other people, but have found the team aspect of it thrilling. I can now run faster and jump higher, which is what I was promised.....

I would advise anyone thinking about this gym to go on a trial basis or pay a little more and only pay for 1 or 2 months. I got locked into a longer term membership and hate it. It is more than 2x what I was paying for LA Fitness and I have had problems with their corporate office double charging me (sometimes as much as $160/month), their classes are overcrowded without adequate space and the instructors over time have become rude and unwilling to pay any attention to what is going on. My best friend who joined with me broke her foot due to lack of instruction and they didnt even stop billing her for the 3 months she could not work out. This gym is the worst experience I have had in Atlanta. The positive part is that most of the members are very nice.
