I was not impressed by Kobe. We tried it there because Sapporo's on Roswell closed and it did not compare. The food was good, but the chef we had was horrible he did not do any of the crazy food tricks or anything. It was not an awful experience, but I will keep looking for a new replacement for Sapporo

Kobe is a fun place to go for dinner, but unfortunately you may get stuck at a table with screaming kids who consider it their duty to absolutely freak-out about the Hibachi show. Attentive staff, but the restaurant is very loud. Greg in the bar does a good job handling drinks.

My husband and I have been to 5 Japanese restaurants in town. I have been looking for a restaurant that serves bean sprouts and guess what Kobe serves them. I was like a kid in the candy store. During our wait I stopped at the bar and purchased a sample flight of Sake, once I arrived to the table I was able to taste five of them, unfortunately I only liked one, the plum, I sent the other 4 away. the bartender found me and noticed I did not like them, he then brought out two servings of the plum wine, I was impressed. Our cook for the evening was awesome, he made our daughter feel like she was part of the show, and he even had FRESH cooking Jokes.

I love this place hands down! Their food is the best in town and does not compare to other Japanese restaurants. The wait can be long on some nights, but what place does not have a wait on a Friday or Saturday night? The chiefs are wonderful and funny. Management is always willing to work with any situation you bring to them. WONDERFUL PLACE TO EAT!

The wait can occasionally be long - especially on a Friday night - but most nights you can get right in. Depending upon the table you get it'll be either a great night, or a lousy one. Once we were seated with a raunchy group that had obviously already had too much to drink. Management either should have seated this group by themselves, or taken us - and the couple who brought their kids - to another table. That was the worst visit. The food is always pretty good... ...but I've never had the chicken.

It seems its overrated. My evening last time was extremely unpleasant. The management was so unorganized that I had to wait for an extremely long time before seating. Service was ok but in my dissapointment we got a rude japanese chef who yelled like illmanered person and not even entertaining. I found my fried rice slimy with uncooked egg whites and the hibachi chicken was definitely what you can called sashimi chicken (uncooked), YUCK!. Had I know, I'd have chosen another chef. Eat my 50 cents tip for bad management and unpleasant, unentertained night.

We really enjoyed our experience. The employees and managers were all as nice as could be, the food was fantastic (more than we could ever eat), and the kids had a great time. You get what you pay for, and it was worth every penny.

I made reservations a month in advance for a party of 10 people. When we got to the restaurant, we were told they were about 40 minutes behind schedule. It turned out to be an hour and 15 minutes before we were seated. Other than that, the food was good and the cook was very entertaining and funny.
