When I spend my money at a store, I expect some kind of service for which I am paying. The groceries are the same price if I use self checkout. I am not an EMPLOYEE of Kroger. Why am I not given a choice of self checkout or live clerk checkout? If you are there at the WRONG time of day, only self checkout is available! This is not right. When I asked for help none was given. When I asked to speak to a manager (a woman by the name of Danni), she came to the door, poked her head out, clerk advised her that I wanted to speak to her, she looked at me, turned and closed the door going back into the room. Totally ignored me, never even spoke or acknowledged me other than looking at me. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen. I do not intend to let this slide. No one should be treated in this manner. This occurred on Tuesday/Wednesday July 3/4, 2012. I was shopping before midnight and attempted to checkout after midnight. Needless to say, I did not check out. I was forced to leave the groceries I had just picked out because of the terrible customer service in this store.
