I can't say enough great things about Kuroshio, and we've go at least 3 or 4 times a month for years now. It is our favorite restaurant in Kennesaw. Recommend getting a coupon in advance from Restaurant.com to help make more affordable although the prices aren't bad. I've tried pretty much every roll on the menu and my favorite is the salsa roll. It's made with cooked crab meat so also a good choice for those who don't like raw fish. The fried rice is great, the teriyaki dinners are good, tempura is a good appetizer choice. We always over-order and take-home b/c we can't decide - there are so many things we love here!

The restaurant is lively, noisy ... and very good! (Don't go on a Friday or Saturday night if you want to avoid crowds.) My husband and I always share a plate of sushi/sashimi -- super white, yum!!! -- and afterwards I'm partial to the grilled sea bass. Because the place is so busy, it's advisable to order your main course while you're eating your appetizer; otherwise it comes out before you're ready. If you want something seared (as I like it)make sure you emphasize it to your waiter. I've had plates prepared over-done on more than one occassion, which to me ruins the meal. When the food is prepared spot-on -- as it frequently is-- it's really really good.

Worst sushi ever, inedible. "Sushi chefs" were Spanish speaking kitchen help. They could not understand our questions. While sitting at the sushi bar, all we heard was loud Spanish banter as they watched soccer while they slopped rice and fish fragments into something they thought resembled sushi. Anyone who thinks this is good sushi has NO clue what real sushi is. Restroom paper towels for napkins, plastic plates,no Splenda or Equal, terrible service, horrible iced tea, no clearing of dirty dishes...I'm this close to putting my finger down my throat. Soooo disapointing!!! Will never go back. If you know what good sushi really tastes like, take my word for it...this isn't it.

I love this restaurant. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious, and the servers are really friendly. I recommend Kuroshio to everyone I know and they are never disappointed!

I found a new favorite. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. He gave great suggestions on how a certain tuna would taste better without the the rice. He was right! The sushi chef, whom I remembered from BluSushi, was as excellent as always. And the different rolls we ordered were fresh and flavorful. I will definitely go back.

I really like the atmosphere at Kuroshio. It's suitable for everything from a group get together to dates or family night out. The prices are relatively reasonable and it's the second best sushi I have found in the city. Their creative rolls are palatable to even non-sushi eaters.

Tired of the same old sushi...? Try Kuroshio! Locally owned and operated so you will be well taken care of - not like these chains and franchise restaurants. The excellent international sushi staff prepares fresh dishes from the menu, or they will create something special for your liking. The huge menu offers traditional sushi, sashimi, yakatori, noodles, tempura and Asian appetizers, as well as a wide assortment of grilled dinners and other specialties. Beverages are cold, the saki menu is extensive, and the atmosphere is warm, fun, and personal. Don't know what you want? The knowledgeable waitstaff will help you to find a gourmet delight. It is impossible to go home hungry from Kuroshio and the prices are very reasonable too. Happy sushi at Kuroshio! (By the way, when you are there, ask the owner what 'Kuroshio' means.)
