I am 73 and disabled. Same deal with the inspection -- my 1996 Toyota is well cared for and they told me the same as one of the other reviewers, that steering fluid was leaking. I went into the pit and looked at it and it was NOT leaking. It just had some grease around the connection to the tubing. When I refused the service on it they would not approve my car. Both husband and wife owners became angry, but the male was out of control. Refused my credit and debit cards and told me he didn't want to stand there and watch the cards NOT PAY!! I had no cash, and he told me to walk to a bank and get it. Ii told him I could not walk that far, but I would drive to the bank. He said I wasn't going anywhere in my car and closed the bay doors as I sat in it. I went back inside and told him I didn't have any cash. He mouthed F_U and grabbed his crotch!! I was floored and I said it back to him. He said he was calling the police and no one heard him say anything. I said, no, because you MOUTHED it AND HE DENIED IT! I called him a lying bstrd and when the police came, he lied to THEM and told them I was running around their business yelling and cursing and they believed him!! DON'T go near this place. There are bad reviews all over the net with this guy and a pattern of foul language and abusive treatment. Took my car to another establishment the next morning and it passed with flying oclors.

As for the 2 positive reviews, the Kwik Car @ Trinity Mills doesn't even have a car wash, what the heck are they talking about??? As for my experience, it was just like Jenidarlin's. I went in for a simple inspection and an hour later, the same cast of characters that worked Jenidarlin over, started on me. Mom, Pop, John Boy and the nice younger woman told me my 10 year old car needed $3,000 in repairs to pass inspection. Don't bother taking them a car older than 3 years or they will try to replace everything and hold you hostage with the State Inspection. There is no point in taking them a 10 year old car. They used exactly the same "story" with me to try and sell me all sorts of things a high mileage car can't justify. I need a friendly mechanic that can help keep me on the road. Not another bank into which I can deposit my money. Just plain a bad experience.

I went to get an inspection at this Kwik Kar recently. They told me my power steering was leaking, and that I needed to get it fixed by them to pass inspection. I had it checked out by two other mechanics (who I personally know), and it wasn't leaking at all. I returned after a few days and mentioned that it wasn't leaking, and the woman working there got REALLY defensive, but said she would pass it. Basically, they lied to me to get more of my cash. I don't recommend this place at all. AVOID>

Best car wash in Texas! My dad's been going to Kwik Kar for as long as I can remember, and when I was passed the family clunker (a '93 Toyota 4Runner in 2005!!) I took it to Kwik Kar too! It wasn't until I moved out of the city that I realized what a great deal this place is for the attention to detail they give to your car... And they're quick!
