Loud Security acquired my account from Due West Security. Recently, I received a notice that they would be adding a monthly maintenance fee to my account unless I called them to have it removed. I decided this was crappy customer service and employed another company for my security needs. When I received my annual bill, I wrote on it that I would like to cancel my service and returned it to them. A few days later, I received another bill for more than ½ a year's service and a copy of my contract. Because I didn't give Loud 60 days notice to cancel the account they were charging me for it. When I called to dispute this I was given all kinds of false rationalization about the required maintenance charge and the 6 months of service. It seems to me that I did mess up and not give them 60 days notice, but then I should only owe them for 60 days of service. This company does not know anything about customer service and is willing to try to make a buck any which way they can without providing said customer service.

After being a customer with another monitoring service, LOUD security gave me a breath of fresh air when it came to home security. Laura, the sales rep was very knowledgeable in all the systems available and the different options we had because of having a system prior to her visit. We went with just switching the monitoring over to LOUD. The technician that came out was also a great asset to LOUD. He answered all the questions we had and didn't hesitate to reach out if we were confused. I strongly suggest LOUD to all new and returning customers, they are outstanding in customer service.

This company has no intentions of protecting or securing your home or family. They want you to sign papers. They will lie to you and then continue to bill your bank account long after the termination of your contract. They will not install your equipment correctly and your system will not work properly. They will not dispatch alarms nor will they correct problems. They will never make an effort to contact YOU at all. They will only take $ from your bank account. Loud does not collect an honest days pay for an honest days work. They steal it!

Loud Security is the only security company I know that doesnt just sell a system and then forget about you. I am always amazed at the fact that if I cause a false alarm, not only do I get a call from the monitoring station, but the next day or so, Loud will always follow up again just to make sure that everything is ok still Maybe other companies can do the same things these days, but I've never had positive experiences with alarm companies before. I only dealt with them if I was paying a bill or had a problem with my system. Loud Security seems to call me more often just to check on my system and service and to be pre-emptive to a possible problem. I dont know. they just seem like they are tying to do better than other companies out there. i appreciate you guys. thanks for everything.

As a victim of the economy, I unfortunately had to chose to cancel my alarm service. I called, and the girl i spokw with was helpful. she let me temporarily stop paying for my system for 3 months while they still protected me and hoped to find a job. After 3 months, since I was working but at a lower wage than before, they again worked with me and lowered my monthly payment so that I could afford to stay with them. I knew that loud wasnt the cheapest company when i signed up with them, but I also know that sometimes it can be worth paying a little more. in the 3 months alone, LOUD security saved me more than I would have saved with another company. thank you for being so professional.

I recently became a customer due to a merger. from the beginning customer service was lacking, I received letters stating I would be contacted about the new company and I wasn't. When I called in and asked a question, the response was rude. I had a problem with my system and a technician came out. He was here over 3 hours and did not seem to fix anything. In fact, my DSL didn't work. I had to call again to get a technician. I would not do business with this company.
