I set up a consultation with love bugs to have them take care of my pet. When the date came for the consultation I left work and had to drive through Atlanta traffic to get home to be there on time for them to come to my home. They never showed up. No phone call, nothing. Then I finally received an email, no call, telling me that I had been sent a previous email cancelling my consultation. I never received the email and asked for a copy of them of it. From that point forward I was ignored and my account deleted. I have never been involved with a business of this nature and treated this way. The friend who referred me to them is absolutely mortified of the treatment I received by them. Stay away from people like this.

I can't stand the thought of my dogs in boarding so I rely on Love Bugs. They're professional as well as caring. I know the person coming to my house not only LOVES all animals, but they provide the best care for mine. They are flexible and have many different plan options to chose from. Before hand, they come to your home, meet your pets, make record of any special needs they may have, and keep a copy of your house-key on file. It makes me feel good to know that if I need to go out-of-town for an emergency, I can make one phone call and Love Bugs will be there to care for my pets the way I would!

Love Bugs is a company consisting of caring animal lovers that take care of your pet as you would yourself. We have used Love Bugs when travelling to Europe and on a month long cross country trip. We were contacted about an issue with our dogs and they went above and beyond to help us rectify the problem to ensure the health and safety of our pets. The sitter leaves a detailed schedule of the visits and how the dogs ate, behaved and reacted to the sitter. We trust Love Bugs with our pets and our home. I don't know how we would vacation without them. We highly recommend Love Bugs.

They are strictly business and do the job. Almost clinical. Don't expect the warm and fuzzies. Communication is done primarily via email and prepayment is required.

Our established clients will agree we are professional when it comes to the care of their beloved pets. This is more than a hobby to us and we take their health and safety very seriously. I can't imagine anything involving companion animals, from snakes to bunnies, to be anything but warm and fuzzy. **We love them all.**
To be more accurate we use nearly every communication method available, including phone, fax, text, internet, and email. Each client has their preference and it's important that you make those preferences known. And you won't get a cold automated voice system here. We reply to you personally. We appreciate everyone's feedback but please be more specific if you have a like or dislike so that future readers can use that information to make an informed decision about the pet care services that matches them best. Thanks and have a great 2011!
We have three dogs of our own and we also foster one dog at a time. So, we always have 4 dogs. We used to board the dogs whenever we went on vacation. When we returned, they were always traumatized by the kennel stay. We found Love Bugs a few years ago and gave the idea of leaving our dogs in their own comfortable environment a try. It was the best thing we could have done for our pack. The dogs have always been well cared for. They receive individual care and attention. Their needs are always met. They do not seem like they are overly stressed when we return. Love Bugs comes out for a preliminary visit to make sure they understand what your pets will need while you are away. They bring in your mail and will put out your trash. We had one experience where we were going to have more than one sitter over the course of our vacation. The owner of the company brought all the sitters to our home and made sure that everyone understood the needs of our dogs. We highly recommend this company. We go on vacation without any worries about the safety and well being of our pets while we are away.

I have never once written an internet review for anything but feel it necessary to let people know that this company failed to provide food for my three cockatiels for a solid week of care (for which I paid them). They tended to the cats sufficiently, but NEVER ONCE gave food to the cockatiels. I left FOUR foods for them: a brand new bag of pellets, a full cannister of seed, a bag of fresh spinach, and brand new honey sticks. When we got home, after more than a week, the birds were shrieking in such panic that I went straight to their cage and saw dishes that looked as if they'd been wiped clean. The dishes were SO clean that I figured someone had wiped them down and forgotten to refill them the last time they were there. Then I checked all four food sources and not one had been TOUCHED for the week--the new bag still unopened, the cannister full, the spinach untouched, and the honey sticks intact beneath the cage. I checked the daily notes LoveBugs left for us and their own notes clearly show that they NEVER ONCE fed the birds. Despite all the clear evidence (including their own daily notes), the owner of the company denies this negligence. It comes down to my word against hers so I have no recourse. But I wanted to make sure other families don't entrust their pets' care to someone who would be so negligent. It's a five-foot cage, by the way, right by the door. It's not something you can miss. Be careful.

After completing pet care for all her pets I received an email requesting money back. I was hoping for an explanation. She claimed that the birds had no food although she admitted she left two large bowls of food in the cage. It was explained that the birds were eating the food from inside the cage and did not require the food from the storage containers. Detailed notes were left so that she knew exactly how they did while she was gone.
She described the birds being very noisy when she returned home and ate a lot the same day. Since the birds were relaxed and chirping while we were there and did not appear lethargic, we had no reason to believe they were sick or hungry. I assured her that if they looked ill we would have taken them to the vet.
She said she was so concerned about their health she would call the vet the next day. She would let me know how much it cost. I told her that she should take them to the vet immediately to find out if anything was wrong. It has been many weeks and she has not yet taken them to the vet.
Several avian veterinarians have explained the behavior that she observed could be attributed to various issues, ranging from emotional upset to a medical problem needing immediate attention. I would recommend taking your pet to the VETERINARIAN if you feel they are stressed or sick.
Hundreds of her neighbors know that we provide the highest quality pet care for very affordable rates, and we have made mistakes that we immediately own and correct. Client satisfaction is top priority but it's more about the pets being healthy and happy.
I used Love Bugs just recently to watch my two buns when I was out of town. Naturally, the buns can at times be wary of new people but Jennifer (our sitter) made an effort to get them used to her. It's great to know my fur-babies weren't just fed and glanced in on, but actually interacted with and taken care of.

I don't travel often, mainly because I don't trust anyone to care for my pets to my standards. When I had to make a mandatory business trip to Germany last year I interviewed several in-home pet services and was most impressed with Love Bugs (fka X-static Pets). I do rescue and at any given time have four or more dogs, plus a cat. Not only was Love Bugs the most economical choice for me, but I instantly knew that Moniqua (my sitter) was going to give my guys the best possible care. She left detailed notes and followed my instructions to the letter, plus my dogs LOVED her (even the scaredy babies). Since then I think I've only needed her one other time, but I recommend Love Bugs to everyone I know and will continue to do so.

I have been using Love Bugs for over 5yrs and cannot find anything I don't like about them or their service. Michele is excellent. She treats our dogs like family and is very dependable. My mind is at ease when we go out of town. I know our dogs are in good hands.
