From Knowmore.org Lowe's does home improvement, but the company's business practices may be most in need of improvement. From failing to pay overtime wages to fraudulent marketing, Lowe's has exercised low standards of social responsibility. Nearly 75,000 employees hit the company with a lawsuit claiming unpaid overtime, and consumers have sued Lowe's over an interest-free credit promotion scam.

We recently purchased a refrigerator at this location. While the sales staff was friendly and helpful, we received bogus delivery information. We arranged for delivery on a specific day, took off work, then called when no delivery and were told our fridge would be delivered two days later and there would "call us" before delivery. We both work, can't just go home any time, and had already cleared our food out of our old fridge. Had they given us an accurate day, we could have taken off work then. Very thoughtless of them and inconvenient for us. When I called to talk to a manager I was put on hold an cut off.
