LOVE La Cocina! The guac, salsa, & chips are a prelude to the great entrees there. The chips are light, so you tend to shovel them down. The guac is freshly made and more of a chunky guac. The only con is that it's pretty expensive for the dips. Otherwise the prices are competitive to other mexican joints. On the weekend there's live music playing to a packed house which makes the atmosphere really fun. Kid-friendly.. easy going time.

I like Mexican food, but not frequently. Maybe three or four times per year. This place, I could eat there every week! I just think it is the best and I don't get that regretful, aftertaste/feeling I get with every other Mexican place. Five stars!

It's just outside of Brookstone 1, so very convenient for those in Mars Hill/Stilesboro area. We go a lot, so can get old, but very reliable and consistent. Servers attentive and friendly and, as Firefly said, managers seem to make a special effort. Weekday specials are good, chips always great. Try the Mexican pizza, chimichanga, burritos, or other standards. Only thing really disliked was pork enchilada (I think). Fairly decent singers on weekend; good neighborhood place.

I eat here often with my infant son. the managers go out of their way to meet and remember you. Staff is great. Their lunch specials are a great deal and you can get a frequent dining punch card to earn free meals. I see some of the same people dining there night after night. Live music on friday and saturday night. I personally think that this is the best mexican restaurant that I have tried in the Marietta, Kennesaw area.
