The food here was pretty good, but the staff here is not friendly at all. I kind of felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. We are not demanding customers at all. I am always nice and appreciative to anyone who is waiting on me and I always tip at least 20% for just adequate service and I always tip more than that if I feel like the service is good. These people need to learn some people skills to be in this business. I felt so uncomfortable that I will never go back to that location.

I love the queso dip here. Also the grilled chicken salad is amazing- so fresh!the only down side is i always eat the entire bowl!also- the restaurant can get noisy

We love the fun, casual and somewhat stylish vibe at La Fonda. The food is great and very reasonable ($7 for a salad with salmon). The queso w/jalapenos is great as is the ensalada pescado and the cuban sandwich.

BUT- the service is below average. Calling in for takeout- the person on the other line is less than pleasant, and the servers rarely smile. We also got "rained out" when we had just gotten our food once on the patio. The food was drenched and the server refused to bring out more food, or even offer a discount.

We will return because you cannot beat the price and the quality of the food- but do not expect to be treated like anything special while you are there.

Food was good and will likely try again. We just did not have good service. Server only came back to our table to give us the check and none of the employess seemed very friendly.
