La Grotta Ristorante Italiano

I have always been a fan of this restaurant. Just the experience of entering the restuarant is a memorable one. I love the food here. The wait staff goes above and beyond here. Sergio and Christian run a great business.

went to La Grotta again tonight. The food and service were amazing as usual and it made for nice "people watching" seeing as how Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore, and Katherine Heigel were dining two tables over. An extra treat.

I visit the restaurant for special occasions and the staff have always exceedes expectations.Wonderful Pasta !!! The chef makes fresh pasta, and the goat cheese ravioli is outstanding. The waiters are friendly , and service is great. It's also very private area of Buckhead; if you're going for a romantic evening request a booth! Food always good. I have been to many Italian places in Atlanta, If you want true Italian food, this is the place to go.

We have been dining at this lovely place since 1991, and in all of that time we have had nothing but the absolute finest of experiences. We simply adore Vince and Umberto, and Sergio is a man of taste. For our 10th anniversary, my husband asked me to marry him again, in the courtyard at La Grotta. The staff was amazing in caring for us that night, just as they always are. I don't know how to improve upon perfection, but they managed to do it! Since that time, we have had business dinners and meals with close friends in this hidden gem!

This restaurant is just plain coolhidden, almost, at the bottom of a condo complex. I have to say some of the best service that I have ever witnessed, and, of course, the food is good to boot. But what I think that I enjoyed the most is that this restaurant is unpretentious. No egos, just real people and real food....
