Surprising Treat!
I went with my childten to meet a family friend at La Madeliene this week and was delighted by the tasty goodies and lovely ambiance of the restaurant. Although it is in a strip mall right off Pleasant Hill Road, the feeling inside (and on the outdoor terraces) is cozy and relaxed. The food was great (homemade tomato basil soup and the creme brule' were my son's favorites, my daughter loved her chicken caesar salad, and I enjoyed a small spinach quiche)! Best of all was the homemade raspberry jamYUM!!...
