This La Paz is designed to suggest a chapel. A comfortable sitting area, with plush leather sofas, is off the bar. A long porch with screened windows provides sheltered but breezy seating. Good salsa, chunky with chopped tomatoes, onions and cilantro, is picante, deeply seasoned with tangy pepper. Soups stand out, such as the sopa de tortillas. And fish and chicken dishes make top of the mark. Vegetarians will find lots to like.
This was a great Mexican restaurant! Beautiful building, great service, and some of the best Mexican around! I think the location wasn't good enough to get people driving by as it was hard to get to and you couldn't see it from the street. I understand there are different La Paz locations but haven't tried them...yet!

This was a great place to have a few beers, eat some chips and salsa and relax. It was high on the hill and always busy. I don't understand what happened. I wish they were still open.

You can get catered food from here, but you're out of luck if you want to eat here. The restaurant is closed and now only does catering. It looks like they are selling the building too, so I don't know how long you'll be able to get catered food either. Either way...it's a shame...it was a neat location and they had some pretty good food. La Parilla just shut them out though.

The food is great and I didn't think the price was all that bad. There is a nice view from window seats and the staff was at least average. Haven't been over there in a couple months. I guess I won't be going back if they closed. Too bad!

I have gone to this restaurant several times over the past couple of years. This used to be a really good restaurant. But, the last time my husband and I decided to have a date night we went there and the service was not very good at all. I think they have tried to get too fancy with their food when they should work on the simple things - they really do matter.

There was a family with two children who were running around the restaurant. It disrupted many diners and it took a patron to ask management to address the issue. This situation should have been addressed without a patron asking. The food is average and the atmosphere is a little loud.

While the view is great and the food is not bad, we had a view into the kitchen from where we were sitting. The wait staff was using their bare hands to dig chips out of bin and serving them directly to customers. This is after they've handled money, credit cards, and dirty dishes. We were digusted and have not returned!

We had been to the La Paz in Vinings and loved it but this one left much to be desired. It was crowded. noisy, and the service was not very good. The only thing it has going for it is that it is near the movie theater.
