My experience at LaRaine's Bridal Boutique was extremely disappointing. It is not just my opinion, but also my mother and my entire bridal party, that we will never suggest this boutique to others due to the customer service we have received from beginning to end. We have had inadequate service from their team from the very beginning. When we arrived to the salon after making an appointment weeks in advance to initially find the dress, we were told we had to wait due to the walk ins that came in. We then felt rushed in our first experience in purchasing the dress and our 2nd visit was no better. I came in with my maid of honor and when I asked about the dress hem/length that didn't look right to me, I was told that it was not an issue. When we inspected the crystal belt and found that there were loose crystals in the very front, the team responded by telling me to crazy glue the belt. This was not the answer we were looking for knowing that we just purchased this expensive item brand new and it came back imperfect. My dress hemline came in terribly and we had to go to someone to alter the dress and fix the mistakes that were a part of the dress before I ever put it on. LaRaine herself put me down several times when speaking with her as she me my hips were too wide and made comments on my weight. Sadly, I shed countless tears over the way she made me feel in the dress. Great selection, yes. Beautiful gowns, yes. Terrible service, the worst I've seen

Liked: Selection, Service, Value/To La Raines, Unfortunately, they didn't have the that dress, but my consultant Kim said they had plenty of others to check out. So she started showing me dresses and it turns out I bought the very 1st one I tried on out of about 20 or so; Kim is THE BEST! She's very personable, bubbly, patient, & DOES NOT pressure you into buying just anything. They have dresses from all price ranges. I would recommend this shop to all of my friends!

What I loved about LaRaine's boutique is LaRaine herself! She's fabulous and bubbly and clearly loves what she does! She has a super cute super sweet little black and white puppy dog who hands out in the store. She has a wonderful staff—they were all so nice to me and seemed really genuine. And LaRaine's fabulous charmer of a hubby who works at the front counter—what a great guy! Always smiling and giving complements to the brides to be. I really enjoyed shopping at LaRaine's. I also love that they pressed my gown so well that I didn't need to press it before my wedding. I wish I could get married again and again (to the same guy obviously) so I could go back and buy another fabulous dress - oh before I forget Raine's dress selection is to die for! Most all of her gowns are very reasonably prices!

Consultants working there are actually nice but the owner is AWFULL!!! She is not only a know-it-all but also extremely condescending and rude. She immediately bashed dress choices I brought with me. She criticized my body when I didn't like the dress she picked (I'm 5"10 and a size 4/6 and have never had problems. I finally found a dress I actually liked. It was $500 over my $3000 budget but I was willing to spend the extra money. LaReina ensured me that this was the lowest I could find that dress for and that they were the only ones carrying this designer. She also ridiculed me for caring about the $500 difference. I went back with some friends to get their opinion before I made the final purchase. When my friend asked how much it was she said that with everything it was going to be ONLY $4700. When I recalled our conversation and the fact that she did not mention the $1200 increase in price (tax, fees..) she got really MEAN.humiliate me in front of others saying "it is not my fault you have an expensive taste", "we have at least a hundred other gowns that are cheaper if money is such an issue", "If you can't afford this dress you will not be able to afford anything anywhere else".I ended up buying that same dress in NYC for total of $3200. Take my advice ladies and go somewhere else. There are plenty of bridal stores in ATL and your wedding dress shopping should be a positive experience.

I went to La Raine's Bridal to try on and get fitted for a bridesmaid dress. I paid for, ordered the dress, and received it a couple weeks later. While the dress I received looked similar to the dress I tried on in the store, the quality of the dress was horrible. The zipper broke (even though the dress came in a size too big) and the stiching was unraveling along the bottom of the dress when I tried it on. In short, the quality and craftsmanship of the dress was horrible and certainly did not represent the dress I tried on in the store. I called La Raine's and explained my situation to the owner, who told me that she would look at the dress, but in no way would refund me for the dress I ordered. She further explained that any issues I had with the dress would have to be taken up with the vendor and not the bridal shop (who I paid money to). The customer service was terrible and I strongly reccomend that no one go to this establishment if they are looking for any quality dresses or any customer services to assist with any problems that may occur.

When I first visited this shop, I found the owner (La Raine) to be extremely rude. She was insensitive about my budget ("Your dad needs to get used to the idea that weddings are expensive!") and when she was taking my measurements she bluntly informed me that I should never tell anyone that I was petite - that I just have short legs. This came out of nowhere, by the way. The person who actually helped me, Jen, was awesome, but as soon as you get to the point of purchasing your dress the owner will lend her "personal touch" to the transaction. She makes a point of getting involved in every bride's experience, unfortunately for the bride. I recounted this experience to another friend of mine (who got married in 09), and she told me that when she visited the shop La Raine made disparaging comments about her weight. She promptly spent her $2,600 elsewhere. However, I must admit that the shop has a great selection of wonderful dresses. It's not the biggest selection in town, but La Raine's carries several hard-to-find dress lines/designers. I went to 11 shops and called several more and couldn't find another in Georgia who could even order the dress I loved most, so I had to return to La Raine's and purchase it there. It's a real shame, because I had to put up with rude La Raine once again. I hated that she got my business, but once you've found "the dress", it's really difficult to change your mind! Also, the shop itself is beautiful, and again, Jen was fantastic.

I have been to LaRaines a few times over the years (with friends first) and then for my wedding dress. It seems to get a bad rap, but it really is a nice boutique with a great selection, but you really should make an appointment..they do not like walk-ins..I called 1/2 hour before I wanted to come in and they took my appointment.

I would give it an overall average score, but it is highly overrated. I went there with a friend - it was the first place I went to look for my dress. I made the appointment and everything. When my friend got there before me, they told her the appointment was an hour later than it was supposed to be. When I got there, they told me they didn't have any assocites available, so La Raine was going to help me. She made some not so nice comments about my body. She refused to let me try the dresses I wanted to try, she made me panicky telling me that I started looking too late and if I don't order that same day - from her - I wouldn't be able to get my dress on time at all. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth. And the dresses are terribly overpriced - I found the same exact dress at a different store that same weekend for almost $1,000 less. Very nice atmosphere, very cute old house, but... not worth it.

What I liked about La Raines: If you are looking for a more private dress fitting, then La Raines is the place to go. They only take appointments and they have limited space in the upstairs area of the house where dresses are housed as well as the fitting rooms. Pretty good dress selection at the right price. What I did not like: Got the feeling from the first time I walked in that the employees were "over their jobs" and tired of dealing with brides. LaRaine can come accross as pushy and aggitated. Felt as though my requests were inconveniencing all of them, for the most part. Watched as they snickered and sneared as brides they did not care for left the building. Overcharged on alterations. The dress ended up being too big for me even after alterations. I measure to a size smaller than they recommeded I get. Just some of my likes and dislikes.

I was at the store this morning and while my consultant was ok, La Raine was horribly overbearing and rude. Not only did she completely knock down the idea of a dress I wanted she also only spoke to the consultant asking questions about me, right aof me - HELLO!! Finally as we were leaving everyone went silent as if she was "just done" and I walked out knowing the conversation that was going to happen as I walked out the door was going to be about me. To say the least she should definitely take a lesson from her consultants and learn how to not be so full of herself. HORRIBLE is the only way to describe this experience.

I was looking for something difference for my wedding dress. Something with an antique feel and I found it here. They were so pleasant and patient and kind. I would recommend anyone to La Raine's.

I would recommend this shop to any one looking for a wedding dress! Their selection is absolutely beautiful and very reaonable. They have wonderful classic dresses, but also offer nice "antique-like" dresses- great for the bride who has no idea what she wants - and for the one who does! I found my dress there in 10 minutes- seriously - the third one i tried on! Since I ordered they've been great about calling me with updates, alterations, etc. They also have a great selection of viels (which I didn't end up going with one but still) and beautiful hair accessories (I got a stunning piece!!)
