Was in area at an other store and needed haircut quick for a last minute business meeting. Didn't have time to go to my regular barbershop. Great move on my part. Got a great haircut at great price. I'm going back.

Just like I grew up with, there are fish on the wall and sports is a frequent topic of conversation. I know Mary from when she used to work at the shop at Dobbins and that one hasn't been worth going there since she left even if it is half the price. I can pay less at other places but I never know if the same people are still working there. It seems like Mary and Katie are always there. Besides, this is a local business owned by a real person in our community, not some corporately owned chain. Try them once and you will be hooked.

If you pass this place up to patronize a chain, you are missing out, or you are just plain crazy! This is a BARBER SHOP, and it is an incredible value (shhh--don't tell Mary, but she could actually RAISE her prices). For the price of 2.5 or so fast food meals, treat yourself to a shave--you won't be sorry, and you'll forget all about "Super McClips & Cuts", etc.

After reading a positive review about Lakeside Barber Shop, I stopped by to see for myself. I received a warm welcome from the friendly staff, and walked out 20 minutes later with a nice cut. The warm lather neck shave and massage was WONDERFUL.

Mary, Elizabeth, Julia and crew are simply the best. They offer great service, great personalities and the best cut and shave in town. Before I found Lakeside, I would just use what ever barber I was near at the time. Now I am a total Lakeside fan and I typically go in for a shave at least one a week if not twice.
