I have been a patient for 10 years now and although he does not have the most outgoing personality he is an excellent doctor. When I was 28 years old, he referred me to a specialist that changed my life and I owe that to him.

I have been going to Dr. Lammert for many years. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes from my appointment time. This is unheard of. I completely trust him. It may seem that he is condescending but don't let that sway you. He is highly intelligent and some Doctors are more out going than others. He has always given me excellent service and always asks me if I have any questions and will stay there until they are answered. His office staff does need to be more friendly. They do always seem to be mad at something. I have never had a problem with his diagnosis. If it is personality you value most then another Doctor might be better suited for you. I always over look this and judge a Doctor by his over all qualities and I highly recommend him.

This practice has a major problem, their office staff. They are rude, unprofessional and indifferent to patient's needs. They do not return calls and when you do call they are very unpleasant to deal with. They seem miserable, I am not sure if they are burned out or underpaid, but they are the worst office staff I have experienced anywhere near a doctor's office. The last time I was there the two women at the front desk were bickering and so nasty to each other that it was uncomfortable. The doctors seem oblivious to the problem. The nurses treat patients as if they are a major inconvenience and you can forget about getting any test results....it won't happen.

I've been going to him for well over 10 years. I think he is a very good doctor. He spends the time necessary. He seems to focus on me, rather than just going through the motions. He seems very well educated and smart. His medical knowledge seems well above average and he is honest about what he doesn't know. I trust him. His staff is a problem. They are unresponsive. The telephone system doesn't work well. The office is not managed well. My impression is that the office staff is basically incompetent and noone fixes the problem.

Normally I see another Dr. in this office, which I had been very happy with. But she was off the day I fell very ill. Called office ahead of time unsure if I should go to ER instead, b/c I was having trouble breathing and vomiting. Dr. Steve Lammert was the jerkiest, most condescending doc I've ever had the displeaser of meeting, and his nurse was a witch! Talked to me like I was retarded and told me there wasn't anything wrong with me, but wanted to send me to another location for a chest x-ray anyway. Office staff was very dismissive and acted like they just wanted me to leave. On the drive home I had to pull over b/c I couldn't breathe and cont. to vomit. Police officer called 911, and I was admitted to Cobb General a few hours later! I will never step foot in this office again!

Don't visit this doctor if you want to be more than a number. We started with him 5 or 6 YEARS ago, yet he still can't remember my husband or myself after multiple visits. He is not open to questions, is condescending, and can't seem to wait to get you out the door. He even suggested to me that "most women prefer to have their gyn be their Primary Doctor". Sorry - I LOVE my gyn, but prefer not to see him (& pay a specialist fee) for my seasonal allergy issues! Staff is borderline incompetent - they've lost my husband's records TWICE now. Are they not computerized or what!! Not recommended - this is why I'm on Kudzu, to find a new PCP!!!

I don't have to go often, but when I do, this is the perfect Dr for me. You will end up feeling like just a number but no 2hr waits here. You are in and out in 30 minutes of your appointment time. If you are ill, you would probably want someone who spends more time explaining things
