A+
We called Elizabeth at Land Steward after seeing one of her designs on KLRU's "The Central Texas Gardener." When we met her for our first consultation, we knew right away we had selected the right landscape designer for our yard. She was professional, astonishingly knowledgeable, and very personal. She really listened to what we had to say and incorporated it into what turned out to be a chic, modern, impeccably crafted design for our front yard. We feel that we got a terrific value for our money.

natural design for surviving the drought
Elizabeth designed my landscape about 5 years ago. My entire garden is a series of outdoor rooms that correspond with my patios and even with my interior rooms. I have no grass, no lawnmower, and my water bill runs about $30. a month with my quarter acre garden. This garden gives me much more living space, privacy and has been wonderful for entertaining. Hiring a great landcape architect is the best way increase your outdoor living space at a very reasonable cost. Elizabeth is both great with design and with picking plants that do best in my soil and climate in San Antonio. The great thing about native plants is that they are so low maintainence. With Elizabeth's help you can put the right plants in the right places and be done with it. For example, Elizabeth chose plants that at maturity are the right size for a particular spot so that I hardly ever have to prune. Anyway I have had a great experience and could not recommend Elizabeth more highly.

Worth Every Penny!
My husband and I were new to the hill country and CLUELESS about what to plant. We are on rainwater (so no water to irrigate)and wanted to go with native plants and I didn't want to spend money on mistakes!
Elizabeth listened to our ideas and designed several beautiful spaces that took into account the design of our home. She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and communicates very well. Elizabeth provided the design and we have done most of the work ourselves. She has been very helpful in every way:How and when to plant; Where to get soil, plants, etc. And she has a relationship with local nurseries which has been helpful.
I highly recommend her!
