Our beloved old bassett hound was dying and less than a week to her 16th birthday, my husband and I made a very, very difficult decision to put her to sleep. Our regular vet whom I have known for years is a two hour drive away and we could not bear to drive with our beloved bassett in her state. We knew we needed a vet very close to home and remembered this office next door to Publix. We carried our bassett into the vet's office for the first time, and I must say these are the most wonderful people to care for any animals. Dr. Mavis McCormick-Rantze held our dying dog as if it was her own. This very action made the decision to return for future visits as we also have a retriever. We decided this is the vet we can love as our own as she had shown us great care and love in our time of grief.

We recently moved to Sugar Hill with our two cats. One cat has kidney disease and we had to find a new vet quickly to get him established. Everyone at this office is very professional and kind to both me and my cat. Every time to vet says that she will research something for me, she calls me the very next day with a detailed answer. I feel that this vet is very up to date on procedures, etc. I would highly recommend this office to all cat owners (and dog owners too!).

The doctors and staff at Lanier Animal Hospital are kind, considerate, and compassionate. They go above and beyond the call of duty. I couldn't be happier with the care my pet has received. I HIGHLY recommend Lanier Animal Hospital to anyone seeking a new vet!
