If you join this club MAKE SURE you don't give them your credit card number! Pay the few additional bucks each month to pay online or by mail. Believe me, it's a nightmare to get them to spot billing your card. Worst customer service ever. You've been warned.

This gym is a TOTAL RIPOFF! They insist on deducting money from your checking account then take out huge amounts and tell you they don't give refunds! I know several people this has happened to. File a complaint w/the BBB & Attorney General because they WILL ruin your credit!

I signed up and went at first then slowly started just skipping out. Come to find out canceling would mean I have to pay 700 (I got the premier package). Know what I did when I found this out???? I WENT TO THEIR GYM!!! I'm starting to go on a regular basis. I'm gonna use it to it's full potential. And you know what, them scamming me out of my money is probably one of the healthiest things that's ever happened to me! I think the rest of you non goers should give it a go! You payed for a reason anyway! We all should have asked more questions and read the full contract. I think in the long run it is a great gym! I hope to see all you nay sayers there!

My husband signed himself and me up for a membership and not two months later his wallet and car keys were stolen from his locker in the facility!! He had a combination lock on the locker!! The person stole his truck from the lot and the employees wanted nothing to do with us after that. They even told us NOT TO CALL THE COPS!! They refused to let us call the police!! The cops and dispatcher said that you should always call the police from the location and as soon as possible. We had to call from our cell phone in the parking lot. While we waited for the police a few club members walking out and the clerk at the hotel next door told us this wasn't the first time this had happened at that particular club (215/Flamingo). Needless to say that after this event we no longer felt safe and they still refuse to cancel our memberships!! This happened in March 2009 and they still won't allow us to cancel. They complained that the card they had on file was denied for our automatic withdrawal, duh it was stolen from your facility!!!!!! The ABSOLUTE only way to cancel a membership at LVAC is to move more than 20 miles away from ANY of their facilities!! This is the ONLY WAY!! Call and ask them. DO NOT SIGN A MEMBERSHIP WITH THE LAS VEGAS ATHLETIC CLUB!! Unless you want to run the risk of being robbed and harassed by them calling EVERY SINGLE NIGHT!! Worst customer service in the world!!

I was completely sold on their contact. I called about cancelling, can only cancel if I pay the full contract amount of $500. I don't use the membership the way I thought I would. I think the contract isn't fair & you should only have to pay as you use it. The only way I found to get out of the contract without penalties is to get a doctor's note to say that I can no longer excercise indefinitely. There is no other way to cancel it. Completely not fair. I will never endorse LVAC to anyone, ever. I fell they are scammers.

I went in just to check things out. I'm shopping around for a health club, and thought Id stop in. I ended up walking out of a high pressure sales pitch, and trashing my info on the way out. Do I really want to go to a club that has to be sold like a used car? I feel sorry for everyone who fell for it.

I had never gone to this place until my friend began teaching yoga there and invited me. the facilities were clean, not too crowded and the staff was so nice! I love this gym and have considered heading over there once I am done with my other gym contract.

I think the other reviewers are dead wrong. Lets take a look at the community provided gyms in town they charge you $3 dollars a day so if you worked out 3 times a week that is $9 and if you workout 4 weeks a month that is $36 dollars. My membership there only costs me $21 a month and I use it 4-5 times a week. Also they have been renovating the other clubs and building fabulous new clubs. Granted parking can be difficult at the new locations but they are great facilities that have just about anything you could want. Also unlike some of the other clubs you can go to any LVAC club without any additional fees. I have never had trouble getting a towel at the front desk. But I wonder how many people don't return their towels. I think for the price it is a wonderful deal. Also if you sign a contract for a two year deal you should read it. It is not much different than the cell phone contracts. You could have paid more for a month to month deal.

people there were quick and polite to sign you up however you cant get out of the membership. They will find ways to penalize you or charge you for everything and since they have your card info they can. Im still trying to cancel it without penalty.

Las Vegas Athletic Clubs has nice employees. I feel they need to stop pressuring you into a contract. No I would not use there services again. No I don't feel that I received any kind of value. No I would not refer my friends to Las Vegas Athletic clubs.

I had been a member of LVAC for about 7 years. Recently, the customer service I received did not warrant this club to be the Best of Las Vegas. The person who I dealt with was abrasive. Despite my complaint, nothing by management was even done. This only influenced me to terminate my membership.
