I was a member of LVAC Gym's for 8 years. I had to leave this gym after I made repeated requests for them to play some Rock music like they use to, all they play is ghetto or girly man hater prefab plastic music blasting it in the locker room. I do use my MP3 player while working out but I could not take the Ghetto culture this location has become. Also 99% of men there never wash their hands after leaving the stalls. I asked LVAC if they could put signs in the restrooms "Please wash Your hands before leaving the bathrooms" They would not. So when your working out there remember men are going from the stall to the hall & you are lifting those weights & touching the same machines- Disgusting pigs. LVAC Mgmt could care less, they are ruled by the dollar & keep packing the Herd in. To the wimps that have no life they have to text at the machines for 20 minutes, how weak they are not serious about working out, they are so insecure have to tie up the machines while texting their GF's. pathetic. So again I ask LVAC Mgmt if they can put up sign "Please no texting at machines" Nope, they could care less, Mgmt there is useless. My friends have left there as well. This Gym use to be great. Now, between the Ghetto music & lack of sanitary nature I decided to go to Snap Fitness. Excellent, no Girly ghetto music, clean & no texting at the machines.

I started at this gym 4 months fter it opened and loved it. Now ther eis no parking. Have to drive around for a half hour to find parking. Once I walk a mile to get into the gym I wait in line for my card to get scanned while the employees are screwing off at the front desk and talking on their cell phones!. I refuse to use the equipment since it takes forever to get on it. SO I run on the track and people do not follow the track rules. People are walking in the running lane. People are walking in the wron direction and people are spitting on the track. I have lodged several complaints and no one seems to care. I am tired of goign to the bathroom and having no toliet paper, or seat covers or paper towels. Then wehen I leave its another mile walk to my car and another half hour to leave the parkign lot becaise there are only 2 ingress/egress out of a very busy parking lot. The little old man that drives around the parking lot does nothing but block traffic. People park and take up two spots or do not park straight which makes it difficult to pull into a parking spot. I spend 104.00 a month for afamily membership and I am very disgusted!! How many people can you sign up to one facility where it is now beoming impossible to work out? I used to enjoy goign to the gym and now I dread it because of the facility not becuase I have to work out!. Pretty sad! I have complained about these issues to management and they could care less they are useless!!

Well if you want to take the chance of stepping on Bodily fluids in the showers then this is the place to go. Nothing but guys having sexual encounters in the showers and the staff just doesn't care. I have actually seen staff there peaking around the corner watching what is going on in the showers. This place is gross then these nasty guys get into the hot tubs and spread there germs to the unsuspecting people in the hot tub. I hope the health department investigates this place cause I am sure they will close it once they know whats going on. This place is just NASTY. If you care about your health this is not the place to be.

I have used the LVAC in Henderson and I have been using this gym for about a year. The amount of people that go here is ridiculous. If you can get there before 6:30 am - you might be able to get a parking spot or on the machines you want. Make sure to bring your ipod so you can really tune everybody and everything out. The machines are constantly breaking down and now they are in the process of creating more parking. Twice I have had personal trainers come up and try to solicit their services to me. I have also seen the security guard out in the parking lot sticking fliers on people's cars. The juice bar is usually backed up, and they just raised their prices. Oh...and the juice bar staff hardly ever wear gloves when preparing food and drinks. Another big drawback is the 2 YEAR contract you have to agree to. It definately could be much better for as much crazy money as they are making.

The president of the LV Athletic Club refused to terminate my contract when their company van was held up and our banking information was stolen last May. We were really disapointed as identity theft is now rampant - a very poor example of customer service.

This gym is really nice with a broad selection of equipment. The staff at the check-in desk whenever I am there don't even acknowledge the guest when checking in, often just taking my card and scanning it while continuing to talk with their co-worker. Their are often signs posted warning of construction workers in the women's locker room, which seems to happen much more frequently than it should. Overall, the gym is laid our very nicely, equipment is well maintained and it is clean. I have never had to wait for a piece of equipment when going around noon on most days.

Although we love the LVAC on Rainbow at Vegas Drive for its convenient location, friendly staff, variety of weight machines and cardiovascular equipment, the membership has grown beyond what would be considered practical. It has become more the rule than the exception that we have to wait to get on a piece of equipment. Often, it takes us close to 2 hours to complete our workout, mostly because of the wait time. We hope more clubs are planned to open in the near future so the crowds at the Rainbow LVAC diminish.

This new LVAC is state of the art. The staff and trainers are courteous and very helpful. You have a wide variety of classes to attend, there is no excuse for not exercising when you have such a great facility.

From my experiences lvac is the best in town, there are locations located across the valley so no matter where I am I can get to the gym from my office or my home any time of the day. The employees are great and always helpful. And classes run throughout the day. its true there is a contract but it can only encourage you to go as often as you can because its out of your pocket.
