It starts when you arrive and relationships are made. Thank you Emily, Ashley, Karen and all the Surgery VET-TECHS, Dr. Vaughan(ONOGOLIST) Dr. GEELS(SURGEON) Dr. HESS (SURGEON) for giving me hope, caring about Daisymae and showing it with your hearts. Finding you was an answer to my prayers. Our pets do not live forever, but Daisy has a real chance of living a longer healthier life because of all of you! I gave 5 stars to value. The care and expert advice was truly a value and worth every penny I spent.

I took my Bulldog here bc he was panting exsesively and not drinking or eating, they focused on existing back problems that they believed were aggravted,an MRI did show he had a swelling in his spinal cord, but they wouldn't give attention to the reason I brought him in in the first place, I now have to bring my dogs ashes home in a box, thanks LVVSC, good work.

Mixed emotions. I can't speak to the vets, only the rehab center, which has an amazing, caring, knowledgable staff. They helped my animal walk again, shared tons of information and helpful suggestions, and are passionate about what they do. What is disappointing is to see all the apparently fake reviews on this site, which makes me question somebody's ethics and motives. When tons of all 5 star reviews are entered the same day, in my opinion it's pretty obvious what's going on. They should openly respond to negative reviews or say nothing, but anyone who creates fake reviews has a credibility problem, at best and at least, in my book.

Thank you for your review of our Rehabilitation Department, we are happy to know they made a difference for you and your pet! The previous reviews are being addressed, and we hope that you continue to hold our doctors and staff in high regard.
My dog had cancer and I brought him to the Referral Center. They prolonged his life for several months and took amazing care of him. Ill never forget those last few months and what Dr. Vaughan did for my us and how compassionate he was. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. A true miracle of modern science. Thank you!!!!!
I am surprised to read some of the negative reviews about this place. I took my boxer to this place and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was helpful, informed and friendly as well.
My Lab was attacked by two Pitbulls and severely injured with bites to the neck and legs. With the help of LVVRC my beloved family pet was able to recover fully. They are truly passionate about helping you and your animal through the tough time. Thanks a million LVVRC!!
Finding a place these days with both fast service and a staff that actually cares for you and your pet are few and far between. They were excellent at a time when my family and I needed support when our puppy became ill. Very affordable, especially in these times, and I'll be back again should anything else come up. Thank you again, staff. The service and care was superb.
While I am sure that this place has fine doctors, I would not recommend it for ophthalmolgy services. We took our baby in with cataracts and found out she had no sight in one eye and a cataract in the other. We followed the doctors suggestions to agressively treat and preserve her exisitng sight, but within a week she went from being able to see to being completely blind. After a week in the hospital (3 surgeries later) we took her to another ophthalmogist who examined her. He took her in for immediate surgery to perform a graph which saved her eye but too much damage had been done by the previous doctor to restore her sight. I do not recommend Dr. Weinstein and would steer clear away from this facility for ophthalmology services.

One year ago I brought in my beautiful King Charles Cavalier because I could not get him to eat without choking and gagging. The Specialist diagnosed him with Laringeal Paralysis as well as paralysis of the Pharynx. But did not offer us any real solutions for Patch. Basically it was, good luck feeding him blended soft food. They offered no follow up appointment to even check on the progress he was making. We fed Patch blended up high calorie food 4 times a day and still he continued to lose weight. My husband and I felt we were on our own. We contacted the USA King Charles Cavalier Rescue and they were extremely helpful. Helping us research some possible solutions. Desert Inn Animal hospital offered us a solution for the first time. They could put in a feeding tube. (the so called "specialist" never even presented this option.) Poor Patch went into Cardiac Arrest before he could get the procedure due to his chronic condition. He would have only been 7 next month. I would not EVER bring one of my animals here for treatment again. My poor dog suffered unnessesarily because of their lack of interest in following up on his progress as well as offering proper solutions. RIP Patch 4/8/2010

Most have been good reviews, but stay away from the eye surgeons. My 4 year old had minor cataracts in both eyes. Unamed doc stated she would eventually go blind or develop glaucoma so we opted for the procedure. My dogs pressure was great in the eyes and was deemed a great candidate for the surgery. The doc lacerated one eye during surgery and created an ulcer in the other eye. A 2 day deal turned into 7 days in the hospital. The original quote was for $4000, but turned out to be $6000, plus a lifelong debacle of expensive eyedrops for the rest of the dogs life. The doc was less than forthcomming with the outcome of the procedure and just used medical jargon to passify my wife until I got to the bottom of it. Needless to say we are $6000 in the hole, the dog came away worse than originally going in. Poor dog went through so much uneeded pain and suffering and for what......to have glaucoma and lifelong nuisance of waiting for her next drops.

I was referred by my vet for an Ultra Sound which is not available in my small town 2 hours away. I was presented with an estimate of $802.50. I did have to pay the $125.00 for the 10 minutes a vet spent with us. I will never go back again.

Dr. Horseman and all the employees were more than caring when it came to caring for Tigger. He is Tigger again. Before being treated he could hardly breath. Now after only two weeks recovery, Tig is smiling, happy, and back to being his old self - and for 11 years old - this is a great thing!!! Thank you all so much -
