The office staff is incompetent! They double booked my appointment after recognizing they made a mistake they wouldn't let me see a doctor. The nurse sent me a RX for my sinus infection. However, the RX didn't cure my infection. They were unwilling to send my any other medicine even though it was their fault I couldn't see the dr. The office staff & doctors were not helpful at all during this event!

This is my second problem in two years. The first time when I arrived to my scheduled appointment I was told that I was not scheduled to see a doctor. Fortunately, I had the appointment card and they fix the mistake and I had to wait for an hour to see a doctor. The second time I received an email confirming my appointment, however when I arrived I was told that I was not scheduled for a visit and there was not email sent out. I showed them the confirmation email from my cell phone and my appointment card which had the exact date for my appointment. They made me wait for 90 minutes without seeing my doctor. I canceled my visit with the group and have taken my business to Piedmont Hospital where the medical staff is friendlier and more professional than staff at Midtown Laureate Group. I was a patient for 11 years with Midtown Laureate Group and I found my doctor very professional. However he is surrounded by unprofessional staff and I believe the quality of this Hospital is dropping.

Everyone who knows me understands that I rarely write bad reviews. In this case, I appeared for medical testing as scheduled, but due to an error in their administering of the medication (not critical, but scary) I had to be recheduled a week later for further testing. When I returned, the doctor took personal offense because I questioned his procedures. That, coupled with other avoidable administrative errors, created an experience that was not something I'd willingly repeat. I know that "stuff happens", but when it does, stepping up to the plate makes a real difference. This wasn't the case with Laureate.

One reviewer hit the nail on the head: this place feels too much like a business and not enough like a medical practice. The doctor I saw was great, but the office staff has been unhelpful and rude. I would not recommend this place to anybody, and I will not go back. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

After experiencing blurred vision, a trip to the ER, then a referral to both a neurosurgeon and opthamologist, I opted to try to sort it all out with my physician. I was 9 minutes late to my appointment, and was told to reschedule. There may be a MD behind his name, but he is no healer. Staff was awful also.

After the pain of parking, I went in for my first appointment and was told that the printed verification that I had was inaccurate and that my I did not have medical insurance. After calling and verifying that my insurance was in fact having a problem, I asked if I could self-pay and file and claim and the office told me no, "Mary, over billing, will not do that because it is too much of a hassle". I was given the option of paying and agreeing not to file a claim or to simply reschedule the appointment until my insurance problem was straightened out. While the bulk of the problem may have been caused my insurance company (BCBSGA), I was treated so rudely here and there was no reason for them to tell me that I could not file a claim after the fact, that I will never go back to any doctor at this group.

I go to Dr. Bandukwala. He is always caring and professional. The staff is great too. Easy to get appointments, they get back to you promptly when you call and they use an online service for referrals and prescription refills.

Doctors are great and staff is nice, but it's hard to get appointments, difficult to get referrals and prescription renewals, parking is a hassle.
