The pin that I had been given by a favorite niece had a broken clasp, and jewelers told me that it could not be repaired. Then, I met Laynie who repaired it and found six other ways to wear it. When I showed my niece the results, she was as thrilled as I am. We went on to design more jewelry sets; all of them receive compliments. It was fun and a pleasure to work with Laynie, who is creative, imaginative, and quite an artist. Marguerite

I have an old favorite abalone necklace that I hadn't worn in years because some of the abalone had fallen out. There was also some discoloration on the silver that I had tried and failed to remove. After consulting with Laynie (the "Jewelry Doctor"), who offered several options for repair including a redesign using the components of the necklace, I decided to opt for repairing the inlay only. When the necklace was returned to me, not only was the missing abalone beautifully replaced, but the discoloration on the silver was gone! I am really enjoying wearing this old favorite once again. It was a pleasure doing business with Laynie, who delivered more than promised and was delightful to work with.

Laynie Tzena transformed several pieces of unwearable jewelry into exquisite, now favorite pins and necklaces. She turned an earring into a stick pin, lengthened a necklace with matching stones, refashioned an odd length antique necklace into two necklaces that can be worn together or separately and replaced dull, hard to operate clasps--often with beautiful button closures. She was great to work with and fair in her prices. Laynie is an imaginative and energetic person to work with she delivers on time and at the agreed upon price..

Laynie Tzena is one of the most talented jewelry designers around. I had several pieces of jewelry that I didn't know what to do with, along with rings and necklaces that were missing stones, sections, whatever! Laynie re-imagined the designs of many of the pieces, and crafted new jewelry; she also fixed the other ailing pieces of jewelry. I have worn the jewelry in many venues, including artists' events, and I have always received kudos and compliments for my wonderful jewelry. I have Laynie to thank for that! Laynie is also very easy and fun to work with! Michele

I have worked with Laynie on several projects - from new pieces to re-designs. Her enthusiasm and good design sense have made for enjoyable experiences. Most recently, she designed a wonderful necklace for my mother's birthday. Mom was thrilled with the necklace ("It's so beautiful"). Whether you buy something already made, have something re-designed or repaired, you will always be happy with the result.
