I recently saw Dr. Leff for a problem with my eye and was worked in. He diagnosed by problem and took care of me. My wait time was no longer that any other doctor and unlike other reviewers, I found him to be very caring and quite an upbeat person. This was the first time I have seen him, but have been going to this practice for a while. Their appointment staff and tech staff was great also. I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to these docs.

I'm sure Dr. Leff has good skills as a physician, as do many other physicians with his specialty in close proximity to his office. I'll never go back to his office as there seems to be no hesitation to cancell appointments whenever desired, but the worse aspect of his practice is the routine hour plus delays in his office. Time is all we have, don't let anyone waste yours.

I've been going to Dr. Leff for a number of years now and have no issues with his professionalism or quality of care. And unlike some other reviewers, I've found him to be very friendly and responsive to my questions. However I do have an issue with the amount of time I spend in his waiting room -- about an hour this last visit. My impression is that he overbooks appointments and that this then causes a backup. He had started to address the issue in the last couple of years, but this last time was as bad as ever. As much as I like him, I don't appreciate the lack of consideration for my time, and I think I may consider moving to another doctor.

Dr. Leff has no people skills. I concur with the comments left by DeeDee8. He diagnosed a tiny dot of macular degeneration in my left eye, but in days following the exam when I attempted to get some reassurance, he refused to be available on the phone, and he ignored my voicemails and emails. You can do a lot better than this. Not recommended.

The name of the doctor's practice is GA Ophthalmology Associates. This ophthalmologist and his staff were very rude and unprofessional. I could tell that the doctor could care less about my poor vision. The presciption for the eyeglasses and contact lens required adjustment. The doctor reluctantly changed the presciption for the contact lens but not the eyeglasses. He said the eyeglasses were fine, but, they were not. Also, the doctor completely ignored my comments about the pain I had in one eye. Needless to say, I will not go to back to that doctor again.
