My 2 daughters have been at Legacy for 3 years. We are very happy with the care and love they provide. The new management has really made a huge change in the school, teachers are awesome, food amazing and its really a place we would recommend to any parent in the area. We love the school and our girls love it even more.

My experiences here have been Great! After reading the reviews I was a little unsure of even touring the facility. After seeing that the complaints happened years ago and that the center is under new management I decided to give it a shot. The initial tour sold me immediately. I asked specific questions (based off old reviews) and all my concerns went out the window. There was proof of healthy lunches (lunch that day was chicken and rice, steamed broccoli and fresh sliced pears), pictures displayed throughout the school, and very friendly teachers who engaged with my child throughout the tour! All I can say is make your own judgments. I made mine and I am very happy that I did!

I currently have a 7 year old daughter in the Summer camp and after care program at Legacy Academy. I am very pleased with the service they have provided to my child. She gets very excited when its time to get up and go to school because as she says, "its the best summer ever!" She loves the field trips they have planned for this year. As a parent I am very pleased with their after care program as well. By the time my daughter was picked up from school her home work was completed and checked for errors. I highly recommend this school to any parents looking for a great caring school

Legacy Academy Corporate Office is pleased and proud to announce that, as of March 2014, Legacy Academy Satellite, located at 1825 Satellite Blvd., in Duluth, Georgia, is now under new ownership and management. Juan and Denise Tobon, current owners of the Legacy Academy Berkeley Lake facility, have purchased the Satellite location, and will be operating it under the same guiding principles and mission that have made their location at Berkeley Lake so successful. Please stop in for a tour of the newly renovated Legacy Academy Satellite, as soon as possible. We know that you will be just as impressed as we are with the smooth transition enacted by the Tobons as they assume ownership, and with their dedication to making sure that the Legacy Academy name remains the number one name in child care in the North Atlanta area.

We had our little one here for about a year: location was convenient, hours great, rooms are big, seemed clean. Unfortunately, like others have said before, many of the great teachers with a true passion for early education have been driven out by the work conditions. As in many places, once the good people start leaving, it's not usually a good sign. There are nice people left, but they are being stretched thin-- that means a cut in educational activities and attention to your child. I value stability in my child's care. I also value good food and educational opportunities. Like others have said, the food is pizza, chicken nuggets, sugared fruit loops, cookies, fish nuggets and the only green I saw was salty canned green beans. For some, that's ok... for me it's not. As for the outbreak of impetigo/staph, I know things are bound to happen in daycare but at least tell the parents that something will be done to help reassure them! One more thing... we were sold that per NAEYC accreditation, the infant room would have a ratio of 4:1, lately that hasn't been the case. Just like me, you want a soothing educational environment, with good care givers who are passionate about teaching and aim to do more than just change diapers, that your child is fed better quality food and that parent's concerns are addressed. There are better places, just like there are worse places. I don't think we're coming back here though. Too bad... it could be great.

This use to be a great place. They had wonderful teachers and my child was happy there until the majority of teachers quit because of the terrible owners. Also they do not disinfect after breakouts are found in the class room. I had to pull my daughter out because of this. The toys look like they were purchased from the dollar store and the meals ether come from a can or frozen. I can see this center closing in the near future.

My daughter was in Legacy from infant to Pre-K. We witnessed a vast decline in service. You could tell teachers were miserable (some admitted). Lack of concern from administrative staff. Pitiful! Do not put your kids here. Pre-K program should not receive money from the state - terrible program.

I was terrified to put my child in daycare. I had had a terrible experience and almost decided not to go back to work. Then I found Legacy and I am able to leave my child with peace of mind each day. I love this place and would recommend it to everyone who cares about quality.

Legacy Academy is a great childcare center! It is too bad that this certain location can give off a bad impression! I saw how things were run first hand! The owners of this est. went into the business for the money. They did not know a thing about the business! I have seen lies told and favoritism shown! I would not recommended this particular location!

I have looked at 6 different facilities before choosing this one. Main reasons great personnel staff and clean facility. The staff is wonderful.
