Legacy landscapes designed and installed everything! Mark Shisler (owner landscape architect) provided a plan that addressed all of our wants/desires and then provided a competitive price for the complete turn key installation. They showed up every day and provided progress reports. They kept at it until completed. They can do everything- provide the plants, install patio, wall, dry creek, lighting, etc. It was a joy to work with them and they even returned to replace one of the plants that didn't make it. We strongly recommend this company and we are so pleased with our new back yard!

We had lots of landscape companies to assess our yard and give estimates. Only Mark and Legacy were able to come in and scope out exactly what it’ll take to meet our ideas and then following up within a couple of days with a very detailed future state depiction of our yard. I also need to mention that the icing on the cake for us to go with Legacy was that the price was RIGHT!
Mark and his team were great about the execution and follow through as well. We had our yard worked on during early summer of 2010 and were guaranteed that should some of the plants not take well…just call them up and they’ll replace. Sure enough with drought, etc., there were a couple of nice size trees that didn’t make it. We were even more pleased to see that Legacy stood by its word even after the fact and returned to do a rip and replace of those trees so those along with everything else have since been great!
We get lots of compliments but the most impressive have been from other landscaping professionals that have been back there and let us know “whoever did your yard really knew what they were doing and the plan was well thought out”.
My review is on Legacy is well over due (work completed in 6/2010) but I figured its “better late, than never” to give much credit where credit is due!

We saw Mark on HGTV and asked him to do a project for us several years ago. He just completed a 2nd project for us. What do we like about Legacy?
1. They start on time and work only on your project until it is done.
2. Both our project managers, Wes and Ryan are talented, polite, and great to work with as are the crews
3. They clean up every day, no mess left behind
4. Mark will draw up a wonderful plan, more than you expect, but you feel very comfortable choosing just what is in your budget and plan
5. My husband is a gardner, loves his yard, and always felt part of the process
6. You will LOVE the final project!

We had Legacy Landscapes design and build our backyard renovation a little over three years ago. After listening to our needs (and wants), Mark drew up a plan that exceeded our expectations. Our renovation included a complete deck redo with IPE floors, a screened in covered porch and an open area as well; underneath had the Rainaway System installed covering a custom grill area with bar countertop. A swimming pool with a waterfall was included as well as a fire place and a stack stone retaining wall which doubles as a seating area with a flagstone top. Legacy also installed two 1700 gallon tanks underground that our gutters are tied into. This has been a great addition since we can irrigate in an environmentally friendly way. The icing on the cake was all the variety of plants that went in to provide us with relaxing, peaceful as well as private view.

The reason I am writing this review now is that after three years, Mark and his team continue to provide outstanding customer support by answering my concerns about certain plants that have come up over the years. They are easily reachable via a phone call or email (my preference). Mark still drops by just to take a look at things and see if I have any questions. I highly recommend them for your landscaping needs!

Mark and team at Legacy did a great job rennovating my backyard. Mark excavated and recontoured my entire back yard, installed several very large stone retaining walls, installed 3,000 sqft of sod, and at our request to do the light planting - Mark provided us with a great long term landscape plan that my family will enjoy installing over the summer. This was a $25K+ job and Legacy was a great contractor to work with. The service and quality were great and we have no complaints. Keep up the good work Mark.
