Legoland California

Amazing place to take your children for quick fun in San Diego. The only con is that it closes at 5pm so get there early in the morning to maximize the time you get to play with your children.

I have had Legoland seasons passes for 2 years now for a few reasons. 1- They're local. 2- My kids consistently have fun there. 3- They're cheaper than Disneyland (I'm being honest) 4- with gas prices like they are having a close park is a huge plus. (Another reason Disney passes had to go) There are rides for kids really from 48" and up, any younger and there's only like 7-8 not-so-fun rides they can go on. There is a huge water play-area, which is worth the passes right there to escape the summer heat. There are also obstacle-like play areas to burn off energy (one for older and one for younger kids.)...

Kids will love Legoland but it is definitely made for their age group so don't go if you don't have little kids!

This place has a lot of rides geared toward little kids, and not many rides for the Adults/teenagers. The Lego statues are cool to look at. The prices are ridiculously too much and not worth it.

My 4 year old loves Legoland. If you are going with an infant and younger child (4-6) make sure you have another adult with you. All the rides have height requirements so an adult almost always has to go on rides with younger kids. The model mom pass is a great deal.
