Lenox Village

The management team does a terrible job. I was told this by many neighbors but I did not listen and I moved there. They apartment was not even ready when I moved in and they will try to make you pay for things that they are supposed to maintain. They are also extremely rude and Water and power is really high. WE always pay over 200 dollars for power. They will promise you free cable and its not true. You will only get just a couple of channels. Also, there is mold and mildew and we have told them many times and nobody has done anything about it.Do not move here.

The local caretaker/manager of the property told me that the apartment I wanted to rent is 1394sf. It turned out to be 1354sf.\r\rHe told me I'd get a ""full-size"" washer/dryer. The apartment had the smaller, dorm size W/D.\r\rHe raved about the ""valet trash pickup"" but failed to tell me that it would add $10 a month to my lease amount. \r\rHe told me I could have pets but failed to mention the pet rent.\r\rHe never told me that I have to pay for utilities like water. At lease time I found out that not only do I have to pay for water but I have to pay a $3 monthly ""sub-metering"" fee as well. \r\rI hate it when people try to con me into signing an agreement with them, adding all kinds of surprises at lease signing time. So my rent turned out to be $25 more than I was actually quoted (just like the other reviewer said here), not including the additional submetering fee. No one likes being ripped off.\r\rOh, and when it snows/ices over here, the caretaker will tell you that the parking lot has been cleared; that never happens. They didn't lift a single shovel, leaving the sidewalks, stairs, and roadways in treacherous conditions. Two different cars wrecked trying to get down the hill.\r\rOne thing you should know: These places are very highly priced for the area. They underwent a strictly cosmetic renovation, so they do look very nice. But you need to understand that the traffic getting here after work is worse than horrible. You can't use Lenox or Sidney Marcus without sitting in a LONG line of crawling cars for the last 1.5 miles home.

Watch out for this leasing co. They are located in NC and Rebbecca in the leasing office will lie to you and try to trap you into a contract They will charge you $10 a month for ""valet trash"" pick up and the maintaince guy comes around and picks it up.. In your lease it will say $3 for service charge on your utilities and you will get charged $6. They quoted me a price for a months rent and went another $25 on what they told me The maintance guy will go in and out of your apartment without telling, which is breaking the renters privacy act.. They have change the code to enter the building without telling anyone and have left us locked out of our buildings.. They want to tell you they giving you the going rent in the area when these buildings are 25yrs old and you can rent a lot newer place for the same price with utility's included and trash pick up. People are moving out before their lease is up b/c of the lies the leasing company tell us Have contacted the BBB and complained and they are working on a law suite against this company.. They can't even fill the retail stores under the apartments.. That should tell you a lot.....
