This was the worst doctor experience I have had. He is incredibly rude. I waited over an hour three times. He only talks about himself and money. My husband had the same experience on each of his visits. At one point Dr. Levin told me I was clearly the breadwinner in our family and asked how much more money I made than my husband. Completely off topic and inappropriate. Between my husband and I we had 8 visits (we had to go back to get stitches out from having moles removed). I will never go to him again and would not recommend him to anyone.

After one year he couldn't diagnose my urticaria and failed at removing skin tags, moles and lasering busted blood vessels. He'll redo the procedure, but expects you to pay AGAIN! He also schedules too many patients at a time, so expect a long wait (~1 hr). He seems more interested in making $$ than helping patients. Just b/c he's located at St.Joe's Doctors Ctr doesn't mean he's a good doctor.

If you're thinking of using Dr.Levin, expect: (1) To wait well beyond your scheduled appt start time - I routinely had to wait 40mins to 2 hrs while he worked through a backlog (on 3 occasions) (2) A cold personality with very poor bedside manner - He made little to no attempt to make me feel comfortable, and only explained his findings and his suggested path forward when pursued for details (3) Hit and miss surgery skills - He failed to remove a small cyst from my shoulder after 3 attempts. Each time he performed surgery on it, he ended up making it bigger and look worse. Now it's transformed into a mass of scar tissue that I'm going to need to see a plastic surgeon to have corrected. If I didn't think this should have been a quick easy procedure, I would never have given him a second or third opportunity. (4) Bring your wallet - Dr.Levin charges premium prices & requires payment in full before you leave, leaving it to you to file for your insurance reimbursement (because his prices are so high) - At the end of the day, I paid more than $600 for a procedure that he failed to complete properly. Also, beware... After you think you've paid the full amount, his office sends on additional charges through a 3rd party lab. Last time I got hit with another $50 charge which I was not informed of in advance.

After years of getting the run around from other dermatologist, Dr. Levin diagnosed my particular type of eczema and has helped me become almost completely symptom free. He is the absolute best dermatologist in Atlanta. I should know, I worked for another one for many years. Dr Levin is personable, professional, and patient each visit. He has skiled surgeon hands and his procedures are almost painless. His staff is courteous and extremely competent. I highly recommend Dr. Levin,

Wrong diagnosis every time. It took money from my insurance with absolutely no positive results. Avoid any referrals to this person. Him and his assistants were more interested in their conversation than my condition. Every time I came back for the next consult him and his staff did not have complete charts. The referring physician Sam Adams was just as incompetent. I finally refuse to go back after a year of no results and their incompetent and unprofessional behavior. Avoid, save your money, and if you referring physician sends you here, change your primary care physician immediately. No one should have to endure such incompetence regardless of who is paying the bill.

When the 2 patients before us walked out after waiting 1.5 hours, I had reservations about our first visit. Dr. Levin walked in, mechanically introduced himself and made a diagnosis. No inquires about how/when the symptons occured. Immediately tried to give steroid injections. My daughter was in tears not knowing what was happening or why. Upon check out I was told to reschedule 'as needed' but they would not tell me when that was. The solution was to leave a msg for nurse who'd call me back with details. Why should the nurse call when I'm standing right there! The list goes on. I will never visit his office again...and he was actually recommended to me

Dr. Levin and staff were very friendly, however the surgery they performed on my back was horrible. I had a small cyst removed from my back shoulder. I had to remind the doctor at least 5 times that I could feel him cutting into my back. Hurt like hell. Put me to sleep if you're going to be stabbing people with scapels. After 12 months after the surgery, the scar looks really bad. Good for consultation, but if you need more than that, go somewhere else.

I did not have one positive feeling leaving his office. The staff was rude and the wait was long. The billing department is not willing to help the patient, nor is Dr. Levin willing to speak with the patient during normal business hours to clear up the matter. Dr. Levin and his staff have only his interests in mind.

I have been seeing Dr. Levin since I was a child, but have finally decided that I am not putting up with Levin's long wait, cold bedside manner, and subpar billing department. Every trip to his office spurns a slew of bills from my insurer and any outside doctors he consults (eg. pathologists, etc.) caused by his office managers inability to correctly and timely file claims. Avoid this practice if at all possible.

Dr. Levin is all business! His bed-side manner and developing conversation with his patients could use a lot of work. He is good about requesting follow-up visits when he's concerned. He is generally in the room for less than 2 minutes. Take a lot of reading material because you'll wait close to an hour just to go back to a room!
