I have NEVER had a bad experience at any doctor's office. I know it happens, but it really isn't suppose to. I mean I can deal with the sarcasm and even the lateness, that I've experienced on more than one occasion. However, I cannot deal with Dr. Levitt's lack of concern for current and past patients. If you diagnose me with something as serious as ovarian cysts, then you should do your part to make sure that I have the proper medication. It doesn't matter if my records were transferred on the previous day. Obviously, I have not seen my new obgyn yet. This is what happened to me today, and I was/am very upset that he showed no concern. He even delegated his nurse to call and tell me that he refused to reauthorize my prescription. I pray that I have better luck with my new obgyn.

I was disappointed with the treatment I received from this doctor. He seemed competent at first but after my last visit I won't be going back. I waited for almost an hour and a half past my appointment time and then he only spent 8 minutes with me, did not offer any testing and no help for my issues. He does have a very nice office staff.

I went to Dr. Levitt after a friend highly recommended him for his compassion and personal care after a miscarriage. Indeed, he was personable and asked many questions about my history, job, etc. But, the praise ends there. He would ask the same thing over again because he must not have been paying attention, did not know other doctors routinely prescribe Clomid Days 5-9 (instead of 3-7) and that Metformin comes in 750 mg pills (and questioned MY recollection of those facts, despite my pharmaceutical research background!). He also began the exam without the nurse in the room. Plus, the nurse was having some kind of personal crisis while I waited to see Dr. Levitt. I could hear her entire teary conversation when she made her personal phone call 10 feet from me and did not answer Dr. Levitt when he called for her to escort me in. Bummer, because he's really close to my house, and I really respect the friend who recommended him.

Today was my first visit as transfer patient. We just moved here and I am 36 weeks pregnant with #2. I was 20 min. early, he was a half hour late. By the time he finally arrived, my toddler was nearing a full meltdown. The staff was rude and uncaring about his lateness, and he was SO rude to me and would not see me, said I had to reschedule because of my toddler's behavior. Was unapologetic about his lateness and had no compassion for a very pregnant woman and her toddler and didn't care at all about caring for our unborn child. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Very cold, no bedside manner.

I love Dr. Levitt. Several women in my family use him. He delivered both of my sons and my youngest brother. I had to have emergency C-sections with both of my boys, due to different reasons. Dr. Levitt was almost as disappointed with my attempted VBAC ending in a C-section as I was. He takes EXCELLENT care of his patients and I have seen him become almost outraged when he felt that I wasn't being cared for as he required while I was in the hospital. I reccomend him to every women I meet who needs an OB/Gyn. He respects your individual wishes and his office team are the BEST!

I first met Dr. Levitt after I had been referred to him by my primary care physician (whose wife saw him and loved him). Dr. Levitt was considerate, kind and warm. My husband and I were ready to start trying to have our third child, and I wanted an OB that was willing to allow me to try to have another VBAC (my second child was a successful VBAC). He not only was willing, he enthusiasticly supported my desire. He informed me of all the risks and we took time to discuss them. After 10 months and two weeks I delivered a healthy baby girl. For the first time I had an OB that was willing to wait for me to go into labor on my own, and I had the easiest labor and recovery a woman could ask for. I honestly believe it was due to his excellent care that made the entire experience so wonderful. I recommend him often.

1] Dr. Levitt seems to have forgotten an important part of the Hippocratic Oath: the part about empathy. 2] Limited listening skills, zipped through the diagnostics questionnaires as if he were on a game show. 4] Pronounced a major diagnosis (including one for diabetes) within seconds of meeting me for the first time (without looking at the figures) 5] Made unprofessional remarks like : "Wasn't that the best pap smear you have ever had?"

I am from the washington dc area and was referred to Dr. Levitt by a relative in Atlanta to remove my uteral fibroid tumors. Like most women my age having a hysterectomy was the last thing I wanted to hear. Dr Levitt removed 17 fibroids for me and did not give that Hyst. I love him for his patience and his understanding. He is one of the best I highly recommend him. I am sharing my story with everyone about him and his staff. I searched for many years to find a doctor that would not just give me a Hysterectomy I found that in Dr Levitt. doctor.

I recently had a surgery with Dr. Levitt. I feel that he is a considerate doctor who does pay attention. Sometimes he can obsess with his laptop, but he is just trying to get as much information as possible from his patients. He does have a sense of humor, although dry at times. Dr. Levitt and his staff are great. I would highly recommend them to many women.

I saw Dr. Levitt more than 15 years ago and was really impressed with the level of attention that he offered patients. Truly a personal level of service. However, due to insurance issues, I had to stop seeing him. Fast forward to 2 years ago, when he was back on my plan and I saw him again. I did not get any sort of personal attention, he was cold, did not answer questions about alternatives for treatment and was more interested in playing with his laptop typing notes than actually listening to me. I cannot tell you how disappointed I was. In MY experience, he's lost his focus.

After moving to a new city 8 years ago, I wanted to get establised with a OB-GYN. Since I didn't no of any in the area I picked up the directory once again. Well needless to say, my selection was a great choice. Dr. Levitt is easy to access and offers flexiable office hours. He takes the time to discuss all procedures with you and answer any questions that you might have. He offers two locations for your convenience.
